Become friends with his wife ... and if that does not stop you feeling for him on account for hurting her, then ask her permission to be his second wife and if she doesn't like it, then offer to pay her for it.

i just approx their wedding period , if they would have 2 or 3 year gap in their kids,

any way having 2 kids with in 4 year wedding seem pretty fast and good score, and both have good understanding with each others.
