people lose good friends when their simple friendship turns into a intimate relationship ........and good friends r hard to find
me and my really good freind were cool ...we use to hang out,chill...and do stupid stuff....
but when we started going out.....it was different believe me... it really was and then we broke up after some time.....and now we havent spoken to each other in years... just cuz of a bitter break up....
so in the end yeah i lost a good freind.

I married my best friend and went on to have our 3 boys with him...lucky me :) theres nothing you could ask for that gets better than this IMHO.

This is wierd for me to answer cos hubz and i got married so quickly after we met. Hes my best friend now but he wasnt when we got married simply cos we hadnt known each other for very long as we did get married within 8 weeks of meeting.
I think it can only go wrong if feelings arnt recipricated or if its all one way. Then yeh a friendship has been destroyed cos u cant go back to just being best buds can u?

Yes, it happened in my case. He fell in love with me, and proposed. I involved my family and so did he. Now he hides as my worst enemy and is my ex. All he knew about me, he used against me. And I followed his example when he couldnt be mard enough to seattle things without alway sdefending former mistess

Well the way I see it is that your husband becomes your best friend (not replacing your female best friends though) after marriage…or at least that is how it should be ideally. Men may view this differently however.
So in my opinion…I would love to be married to my best friend…doesnt matter if he was my best friend before or after marriage.
I have a male friend who once told me that if neither of us get married in the next 2-4 yrs that we should get married

I dont think i cud marry my best freind.... that'd be illegal..not to mention i'm not really attracted to her.. oh and my husband prolly wudnt like that...i' m just guessing

You were friends before that means there was trust involved...Now put that trust to a relationship and you'll have a very happy life ahead...
