I guess if u can fall in love by chatting then it's possible thru posting as well...the good thing about online is that u get to know each others' personalities first, so it cuts thru a lot of the initial physical crap...eventually i think u wud want to see each others' pics, cos there has to be physical attraction too. So yea, i think u can start liking/loving someone just by the way they write...it's a form of expression and communication just like talking...some ppl write better and r more relaxed when they write . And sure, i wud want to know if someone liked me for this reason. I actually fell in love with a guy online once. But it went from an online thing to a fone relationship very fast, i'm talkin like a few days. It was good while it lasted, we remained friends even after we ended the relationship.

Fall in love? Umm dont know about that. If its love as in you want to marry the person i think that would border with stalking. But if its love like you generally sincerely like the person for who they are then thats cool i guss.
Ive liked a few guppies like that my four years on gupshup. Ironically for me its guppies who rarely post. Some of them dont even frequent GS anymore. I guess its the elusive nature of their online persona that raises their stock in my book.

It all depends on how emotionally vulnerable are you. I will agree with Raindrops here that you require a slightly advanced level of interaction (msn/phone) than the posts to umm actually ‘confirm’ the liking/loving bit. Do these relationships (for lack of a better word) have a future? well some of them do and some of them dont. Again it varies from people to people. yahan baray baray bikhray paray hain kissay

i would say one can start liking someone for the way they write/express their thoughts but as many guppies here mentioned that it has to go on next level and then next level in order to become 'love'...msn, phone and then meeting in person will make the feelings grow strong. If someone claims that they love someone just because of their way of writing is simply crazy as love doesnt just grow like that. It CAN begin with 'liking' and can end at 'love' but when one goes onto an extreme just in a phew then its deewana pan jis ka koi ilaaj nahee..aur yeh deewanagi jesay barthi hai wesay he jhaag ki tarha beth bhi jaati hai.
