I heard my sister saying it's such a ghatiya video with a bunch of half naked models dancing around. I guess I'll have to watch it myself and see what I come up with.

^ nah, they're not half naked at all. I thought their dresses were pretty conservative...well, in the sense that they are covered up. The designs are very nice, methinks. But then, I have green hair.
I thought the video gives great exposure to our fashion industry. What is strange is that I've heard of this video a year or two back, and now I'm beginning to see it on the net. And I have yet to see it on TV. And yet they keep playing those same crappy Jawad Ahmed videos over and over again.
I wonder who decides how much air play time each video gets. I thought it should be equal, but apparently not.

Faisal, I think he is from Karachi(i might be wrong though) but i aggree with you that he has been there for a long time. I think he came out with munda Pakistani and proudpakistani a while ago, but he really became famous because of his bhangra song.

aray i didnt mean THIS oldie talent known as FALAM. i was talking bout the talent that is emerging these days who come in the form of two or more people and usually carry around a six stringer around their necks. THAT talent seems to be carrying the youth of pakistan by storm these days.

Its not even that really. The video is DIFFERENT. Point out one video to me that is made along the same lines. The concept is different. The effects are better. Styling, and camera work and lighting is all great.
The song is not so great, but almost no song that fakhr-e-alam makes ever appeals to me. But somehow, his videos sometimes win over.
This is quite different from the videos being made by the run-of-the-mill artists like Jawad Ahmad. EVERY one of his videos is like all the rest of 'em.
Its actually not the actor's fault really - its the fault of the video director. But still, Jawad should have the sense to try to work with someone else.
Fakhr-e-alam has been known to be more experimentive with his videos, which is good.

PCG if u consider Falam's video great in terms of styling camera work and lighting in his video, then u seriously need to watch more pakistani videos. there are hell lotta better ones than this one. having said that, i am not saying this is a bad video, but there are other directors who have been really good with experimentation.....what asim raza did to hadiqa's mahi video was not bad either. u might wanna consider watching that if lighting and camera work is what ur really looking for. it even won the LUX style award last year for being the best video too.

abhay patha hai, its not the best technical video. In relation to Jawad Ahmed style videos, it is better.

awesome video...I agree with Gudia...his video's are different...and I personally think his songs are very different too...he has his own style...which lots of people dont like but i like his songs a lot...and having seen him live in concert... he is one hell of a live performer and a great person.
