if u guys see fake hand bags in market then do u pick up?would u like to buy a so cheap a copy of branded hand bag or not?wat would u say if u feel dat brands r too xpensive for u to buy…or wen u cannt buy a branded 1 then u wont prefer a fake 1 …is it?

i once bought a fake side bag cuz it lukd sooo much better than a real one (the design was much better tha the real one) but it only lasted me for abt a month....the side broke...:(

i just saw a christian dior bag in a shoe shop here, it looks really nice and if the price is reasonable i'm getting it!!!

I personally wouldn't...cause once you have got the real thing...you don't want to go for knock-offs! Trust me...the quality is worth the price!! It will last forever!! So spend the extra dough, and get the real thing, and if you can't afford it atm, then save up!! It will make the purchase even more satisfying!!

I don't think I can tell a real designer from a knock-off, I got a Valentino bag from Filene's basement for $110.... I was shocked, I don't know if its real or fake... but it definitely looks and feels gorgeous, has lovely Italian leather and I just love it.... do you guys think it might be real?

i wudnt bother buying a fake bag the amount ur spend on fake bags because they just break you might aswell buy a designer one. I recently bought my mum a designer bag and purse, Because i was so fed up of her buying silly bags all the time. This one will last forevaaaaaaa.

I dont care about brand much but I go for quality ..so I wouldnt get a copy offcourse but a non branded bag with good quality .

Yeah, agree with you, mehroo. Some good quality and non branded bags are cheap more than the branded bags, and they are also fashionable. So why not. Last month, i bought a chic Giraffe Print Style Handbag from Sourcingmap, a good quality one. And it costs much less than my budget.

Then again...if i'm gonna spend $50-100 on a bag, its gonna be its own brand (like Guess or anything from macys) rather than a goach or cucci

If its coach or D&B I would prefer to buy the original one but if its Loui Vuitton or Prada I wouldn't mind buying the fake one also :D I am so cheap naa ;)

we deal with people, and how they are, impacts our interactions, we all care about how people are, the question is does someone buying fake material give us an insight into how they are like or does it not. Personal choices are personal choices, but sometimes they give some insight into the thinking of the person who made the choice.

ever for designers there could be several motivations like

  • i like the style but am not going to pay 2K for it, so a copy, knockoff or inspired design will do just fine
  • i want people to see i have a designer, even if it is not
  • add more

but see the difference in the way of thinking in those 2 cases..thats what I am wondering about,
