The task of investigation was given to the government. It was AG’s decision to let NAB do the job. NAB constituted a joint investigation team. And now it has surfaced that one of the JIT officers is a former Bahria Town employee. A CCTV footage was presented before the bench in this regard. The SC wants the government to get the matter probed the way it wants. Impartiality is however a condition.
