Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

fade out is horrible... it dries out ure skin as if u threw acid on it.. very very very harmful to the skin... i dont knwo bout the other one. i used it only twice and my skin looked like it had aged 20 yrs.. that was amazing (in a very negetive way) ofcourse. :p

Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

fade out sucks :vivo:

i bought it and just used it few times it feels so sticky and ewwwwwwwwwww feels like u have put vaseline or grease on ur face

it obviosuly doesnt work cuz u wont be able stand the feel of it on ur skin so u will never ever use it after few times :cb:

dont know bout the other one tough

Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

lol. well my mum has freckles naturally but after she came back from hajj like year she ended up with some serious sun spots on her cheeks as she wasn't using any sun protection. they were really dark and big. she bought fade-out which she only used at night coz it's a horrible feeling cream as above members have mentioned. anyway, they did fade though.
i recently yoinked it from her coz i got back from pak a month ago and on the last day there i got some serious mozzie bites on my feet - i scratched them like crazy and ended up with like 4 huge darks on both feet. last time that happened, the scars were still visible after like 5 months and my nikkah is in december. so yea, i have been using it on the scars on my feet, haha. but it has been working, the smaller ones are quite faint now and i'm pretty sure the larger ones will be gone in another month.

Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

hi ladies .. thanx for your replies... I would be happy to see any reviews about Pharmaclinix? The product is from the UK, and is supposed to be made specially for Asian skin...

I've seen the ads of pharmaclinix and thats basically all that you get to know about it. I would NEVER go out and buy it.

you're better off sticking to one of the high street names that has been around with good reviews for a while. There are so many of those and you will always find one to suit your skin and that works on your problem, depends on your budget. creams come from $10 - 500 and more.

Also, to be honest, my baji had a little skin problem before her marriage and she saw this cosmetologist in london, who was also from pakistani origin and she told my sister that all those creams claiming to be for a certain skin type like asian and all is BS, all selling strategy. Because my sister had spent too muchc money on such creams already and none worked upto its claims. So, she was basically given a proper treatment by the lady who analysed SO MUCH about everything and did this hour long consultation. My sister took the treatment prescribed and she was totally glowing on her wedding day, she even asked the same cosmetologist to do her hair and make-up on her wedding. She looked amazing. I would post her pics but my sis has never had her pics up on internet and doesnt approve of anyone to do that :p either lol.

Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

^ wow... what kind of treatment did she go through?

Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

pakfashionista, can u pls email me or message me details of this cosmetologist in london. i'm going in december and my skin needs some serious repair!

p.s. my email is 'laibahashmi' on yahoo!

Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

My skin had a very violent allergic reaction to fade out and my eyes and face was all swollen up and burning. It was horrible. I am never ever going to use that cream again!

Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

what are you serious! skin cancer? omg...

Yes it was horrible and it took 13 days for my face to come back to normal!

Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

noor1234, I'm not sure what treatment exactly because I was not with her in london at the time, but she just told us over the phone and then we saw her around the wedding time when she was looking all fab :) the cosmetologist even helped her look great overall by helping her drop those last few pounds and she looked really beautiful overall.

I will ask her about this in detail when we talk again, she doesnt live in pakistan.

LaibaDXB, i will also get the contacts of this lady from my sister and send them to you when i have them :)

Noor, if you have pigmentation or acne scars left that u want to lighten the best is to get a couple of sessions of micro-derm done alternated with glycolic peels.. Do not use either of the mentioned creams as they really don't bring about drastic results and have a lot of reactions. If u chose to try one please do a patch-test..

Try some herbal home-remedies to get rid of the marks.. even eldopaque or HQ can help. But u need to book a consultation with u're derm.

Re: Fade-out VS. Pharmaclinix

^Hi Gina, Its actually for my mum.. she did try Fade-out some years back.. but then it was no more available here.. maybe because of the "dangerous" sideeffects... dont know...She did saw positive effects on her pigmentation as it went lighter... Now Mum wants to try the cream again... and i am a little sceptical, because there must be a reason for removing the products from the stores here... As alternative i read about the Pharmaclinix cream.. so thats why i was fishing for more reviews about theese products...especially Pharmaclinix..

Just be really careful when trying new things, what works for one person may not work for u. Fade-out takes a long time, take her to a derm who will prescribe sumthing meant for her pigmentation and skintype.. never buy or try any creams with such an amount of chemicals on the face without a consultation.
