Re: Factory owner killed by mob on false blasphemy charges...
Im going off on a limb here, but even if the factory owner desecrated the quran I do not believe he deserved death.
Re: Factory owner killed by mob on false blasphemy charges...
total jahalat.
Mullah's today are the scummiest of mankind, they fearlessly tarnish the religion of Allaah for their own ends, they are a blot on the glorious religion of Islam that needs to be cleaned away.
The people who committed this crime should be hung till death as should the Mullah who incited people to commit this murder from the Mosque loudspeakers, he should also be tried in court and executed.
Our people are so stupid enough to let Mullah's intoxicate, to hypnotise them with their zealous speeches for the Mullah's personal motives, our religion itself might be great but unfortunately we believe anything passed of in it's name.
We need to wake up, this zealously and jaahiliyyat is destroying our country.
USA, India or Israel might want to colonise us but our biggest enemy is from within, it is these Mullah's and zealousy, it is eating away at our scoiety from inside like ghun (that stuff which eats away at wood, don't know english word for it).
This is an EMBARASSMENT to our motherland Pakistan, to Islam and to Pakistanis living everywhere, do these idiots realise how hard life is for Muslims (especially Pakistanis) around the world at the moment.
Aisi harkaten poori qaumi ki nazren sharm se jhuka deti hain.
No wonder we are despised and ridiculed all over the world by Muslims and Non-Muslims alike.
We are scum and we need to sort ourselves out quick.
Absoloutley perfect idea that Gov should control/regulate Mosques/Madrassahs.
To (most) Mullah's today Deendaari is Dukaandaari!
It's the only option left, most Mullah's today are incapable of running Mosques because they are too greedy, too stupid, too short-sighted and too immature to be able to run Mosques.
In my village every Tom, Dick & Harry with a beard has opened a Madrassah or a Mosque and they all hate and quarrel with each other despite being from the same religion (Islam), sect (Sunni), judisprudence (hanafi), subsect (deobandi/tableeghi-jamaat).
They all badmouth each other so their own bussiness flourishes, apni dukaan chamkaaney ke liyey.
Re: Factory owner killed by mob on false blasphemy charges...
^ and what if the government becomes as bad as the mullas after taking over all the mosques? there are enough examples of religion/government nexus brutalizing minorities for us to think twice before suggesting that as a solution. especially in Pakistan? where the government houses the biggest sell-outs there are.
As much as I hate the religious establishment we need to look at this in perspective.
In my view, “incitement” can only be considered a crime if we deny every man’s freedom of will and of choice, and assume that if the Mullah tells A and B: “You and him go ahead and kill!” that somehow A and B are then helplessly determined to proceed and commit the wrongful act. But for those who believes in freedom of the will, must insist that while it might be immoral or unfortunate for the crazy mullah to advocate a riot/kill, that this is strictly in the realm of advocacy and should not be subject to legal penalty. Of course, if the Mullah himslef also participates in the killing of the business man, then he himself becomes a killer and is equally subject to punishment. Furthermore, if the Mullah is a boss in a criminal enterprise, and, as part of the crime, orders his henchmen: “You and him go and rob and kill those rich men” then of course the mullah, according to the law of accessories, becomes a participant or even leader in the criminal enterprise itself.
these incidents are common in karachi. i refere you to the murder of a christian only last year in a factory of karachi.
generally karachi is as backward as a place can get if you just judge by the news and then generalise like you are doing for punjab
Karachi represents all of the country and their mentality.
Re: Factory owner killed by mob on false blasphemy charges...
"no talibanization in pakistan. only mqm propaganda. immi bhai told me in geo tv"
Re: Factory owner killed by mob on false blasphemy charges...
Really disgusting, the mullah who gave 'fatwa' to kill the industrialist must be hanged by private parts, he deserves no mercy.
"no talibanization in pakistan. only mqm propaganda. immi bhai told me in geo tv"
This issue is not "talibanization", this extremism started long before we heard the word "taliban".
Mostly these belong to a particular sect. I do not want to name.
I know you're pointing your fingers at the so called "Wahhabis" (which can refer either one of the two seperate sects Deobandi/Tableeghi-Jamaat or Ahle-Hadees/Salafi).
That's wrong, you shouldn't marginalise an entire group, it just starts a circle of hate and violence and makes matters worse.
Just as different Muslims intrepret their religion differently, same with the Wahhabi sect, to some it maeans peace and love, others only see what they want to see and that's fighting and war...
Just as not all Barelvis/Sufis are child molesters not all Wahhabis are terrorists.
I'm a freelance/no-sect Muslim but my family are Deobandi and none of them are terrorists.

I agree! Thousand apologies!
All people are discussing the unfortunate incident but nobody has ever thought why pakistani society has becoime overjealous and insensitive in the name of religion. Do you consider whole Islam gets insulted and denigrated by insignificant incidents of tearing a paper of Quran or tearing a paper with a verse of Quran and the person gets a punishment with his life and property.
This bigotry which considers religious sentimentalism supreme than humanism is a curse on whole mankind.
Vested interest will always turn non events into blood bath by charging anyone they dislike with blasphemy. Cann't a sane society review these backward laws. Islam is great and shall remain great serving humanity even without these outdated laws and religious oversensitivity.

It's all part of the same exact mindset and rot in society even if known by different names today.
I guess the Owner is muslim, why did he did that ???

I totally agree with you on this one. I have realised that people are more worried about the semantics rather than the actual teachings. This problem is not confined to Islam alone but is evident in a other religions as well. Only problem is that there are more of these instances in Islam than others. Also the media plays a role in highlighting these kind of incidents.

The owner was such a pious muslim that he used to recite quran sitting on the back seat of his car while going to the factory...anyone who knows the owner will testify that owner could not have done anything like that. Moreover there is no evidence that anything like that ever happened. Even if the owner was less pious, these loud speaker fatwas and mob justice can not be allowed in any sane society. Any mental patient can call these mosques that blasphemy has occured and they issue loud speaker fatwas to kill...you should really think before what you are posting!
