As for those millitary figures your forgetting something. Pakistan and also India have an army in name only. Both countries are money wasting crackpots becuase let me tell you as a former soldier, little of that budget is ever seen in the barracks.:wink:

I personally say Pakistan has no Army…It is an Army!(Becuase it is a millitralised society wether you like it or not!) So long as there are a few decent old style veterans within the country it won’t fall, when they die then see who saves you!

The real bahadur on both sides are the poor folks that have to put up with depicable (Baigharat/badmash/namak-haram/kaffir~#!******~#!) leaders!:smiley: On this point at least Raj_ind you have to agree with me.

As for pakistans Army it has to seriously re-think it’s structure which is why some fanatics like me are part of a new system within the old Army. Both india and Pakistan must find peace. However the politicians are western backed crackpots.

If somebody doesn’t change this then let me tell you India will be like the new Athens with it’s fine democracy and massive colourfull army and Pakistan will be Sparta, with it’s millitary system being the beating heart backed by fanatical warriors.

If i could bet on it i would say we could be in for another homeric tragedy of a rollercoaster. But at least i’ll be on Pakistans side. Pakistan like Sparta **will **win but i fear the cost of such an unfair war. As a warior it’s my job to fight but let me say that this fight i will have no heart in…

As for Pakistan i'll admit we are not perfect either, however on the point of Kashmir the Rajah of Kashmir started this war!

He was backed by Indian politicians and soldiers.
Therefore India in effect siezed control of a Muslim majority sector and imposed forced rule on the inhabitants.

Pakistan did not sieze Hyderabad deccan even though it's ruling Nawab was Muslim, becuase it was a Hindu majority seat. Therefore India has no excuse to rule Kashmir. It is a Muslim majority sector and therefore soveringity must be restored to Muslims!

Where is your democracy now eh, hypocracy more like brother!

Give back whats not yours if you want peace, or alternatively how would you like it if soldiers backed by Pakistan took Hyderabad deccan eh?
You would have no right to protest that matter becuase you'd have violated our rights first!

However two wrongs don't make a right. Let us give up this pathetic dispute and free Kashmir to an indepandant vote and let them decide for themselves what they want.

Peace is only acheivable when both sides stop being obtuse!

The Raja did not start the war. Pak started it when they sent tribals to scare the Raja into going with Pak. The Raja did get scared but ended up going with India instead. So if anyone is to blame for Kashmir being a part of India, its Pakistan's greed.

Its good to read an accurate or atleast a neutral account of history ;)

Ultimately the Rajah of Kashmir is responsible for this on-going trouble, it has nothing to do with "“tribal’s” as you call them.

True Pakistan did jump in with a bit of force but according to international law it was right to do so.:desia: Simply becuase Kashmir is a Muslim majority area, go hold a referendum and you will see this clearly. Therefore Pakistan had full right to uphold the democratic decision of the kashmiri people.

Since the real greedy:shireen: ones are India, as we all know, they could not bear losing Kashmir even though it was a Muslim majority seat. Thus India took over using the Rajah’s protection as an excuse.

Tell me if Pakistan is greedy,

Then why is a monster sized nation like India needing American,Isreali,Russian and British help to deal with the tiny Islamic repiublic of Pakistan?

All this help your mighty India needs just to hold onto Kashmir!

do we need better roads, education or missiles and bombs.
My prediction is: There is never ever going to be a war b/w india and pakistan where these weapons will be used.

Right now the biggest threat to pakistan is from corrupt leaders and tliban, and both are muslim.. i feel safer going to the pak india border rather than marriott, or lahore.. Our enemy is with in the country.. we need to fight that. what threat do we have from un-islamic world? esp the super power and can u do anything about it with our weapons?

Yes, Pakistan did sent volunteered tribal fighters and regular army to invade Kashmir in 1948, but not for no reason. Raja Hari Singh was conspiring along with Indian govt. (ruling Congress party) to merge with India even though the fate of Kashmir was yet to be decided along the lines of Partition. This prompted Pakistan to take the initiative of offensive and 1/4th of Kashmir was liberated until ceasefire was put into place. Liaquat Ali Khan's govt. was threatened of dire consequences by US if Pakistan didn't complied with ceasefire.

I am 200% sure if there is a traditional land war between Pak Fauj and weak Indian Army, Pak Fauj will defeat Indian army in less than 6 days and Pakistanis will be Delhi on the 7th day. Pakistanis are brave and strong and any war depends on Himmat, Jazba and Junoon and Indians don't have any of the 3 qualities.

Full scale wars are not practical in modern time.

More likely, the future war will be in the form of proxy, covert operations or even terror as a tool for state.

Limited Surgical strikes eliminating specific target are already seen as an effective tool by US-NATO in Af-Pak. We will see more of these type of "war".

The closest India came to war in recent time was during Kargil incident, even in this case Pakistan was not "officially" fielding army.
