this thread is about india. such incidents do indeed call into question the country’s secular and democratic credentials. you are trying to draw parallels with a neighbor that is neither secular nor democratic and where minorities are constitutionally inferior. that is a wildly inappropriate benchmark for india to measure itself against.

Yes. Drawing parallel with neighbor of India is uncalled for.

Despite Muslims being over 90%, not claiming to be secular country,… Hindu minority houses are not burned in decades in Pakistan and police has not acted partially.

Moreover, no acts like Samjhota train blast have occurred in Pakistan and Indian singers have been treated with respect in Pakistan, Hindus can buy houses anywhere in Pakistan,…etc.

The president of Pakistan was elected democratically in case you need education.

Now please condemn the act of terror against Muslims in India. Will ya?
