I’m getting married soon and my MUA has recommended facials, but I’m absolutely clueless when it comes to facials, etc. 
So…what should I expect? Are there any specific brands I should be looking out for?
My skin is fairly good, mA - I’ve just got a few heat spots due to the sun, a few blemishes and a few blackheads. I’m mentioning this, as I take it that facials are tailored to each specific person and their skin.
Any help would be appreciated!! Thank-you.

A good MUA would know what kind of a facial you need when they see your skin, as you mentioned "facials are tailored to each specific person and their skin".
I have heard good stuff about Dermalogica facials though. They have it for different skin types and the major concerns.

Dermalogica and Guinot facials are both really nice, any good facial should help in getting rid of dead-skin and blackheads. Just be sure to tell your facialist what your skintype is and whether it's sensitive so she may select products accordingly.

Could you also tell me whether those special stones should be used? I’ve heard of facials that use some sort of stones. 
My MUA said she does a simple facial with no stones. I’m a bit worried tbh because she’s good with make-up (from what I’ve observed), but for facials I’m just unsure.
