hey does anybody know of any good places in Mississauga or surrounding areas that offer facials using Shehnaz products (or similar)? please let me know
Re: facials
A lot of Indian/Pakistani salons offer Shehnaz facials, I have never had it done myself though.
There is a salon in TWAIN Plaza at Mavis and Twain Ave in Mississauga. It is called Aroma Salon Spa.
Re: facials
All due respect to Shahnaz Hussain but after looking at the way she looks or does her face and hair, i would rather go without a facial with her name on the product!!!
Re: facials
I'd rather go to an american spa instead of a desi.
Desi estheticians (can you even call em that?)
charge you alsmot the same amount and do so many things wrong.

Why do you say that desi is not the same as american estheticians?
If the desi has done the course, they'll definetly be the same as the american, as for the prices why do you think they charge the same and does not do the same job, just because they are desi. (unless they did not do the course in esthetic, and if they did not why would they do the job).
Some desi can be a good as the american mind you.
Re: facials
I've been to both desi and american, and different ones-and I assumed the same-that the western ones would know what they are doing etc., but I was proven wrong -more than once..I guess it also depends on your skin type?

I have been to a lot of different desi and american spas.
The americans are sooo much more professional, use better products,
and do things right (exfoliation, extraction etc).
I was just talking about my own experince. If a desi
esthitician/spa works for you then that's great. :)
Ps: I agree if a desi has done the course from here then yes they would be just as good as the other ones. But a lot of them have not.

lol... i couldn't agree more! what's with the hype for her products anyways?? she doES kinda look scary..
my only experience w/ a facial ws at the hammam spa in t.dot! absolutely loved that place... and the experience.. and ofcourse the facial! i received a gift certificate for that place... dont precisely remember how much credit got used off the card... but im sure they offer a wide variety and i dont find them too high-priced for the services u receive...
as opposed to mane society! (in sauga- heartland centre).. i go there for my hair and always come out satisfied.. and ive checked out their prices for other spa/ facial services.. and i think theyre really expensive for the teeny lil place it is (as opposed to hammam..)
try going around at a few desi salons, possibly around dundas/highway 10. talk to the receptionist/ check out the brochures... u can just look around and tell from the ppl who work there and the general hygiene of the salon if they know what theyre supposed to be doing!
