hi…i have dry skin and now i start getting breakouts like white heads and pimples here and there i start using benzoyl per oxide 5%
and in 3 days my skin is very tight and feel like its peeling too some areas …and is very discolored especially around lip areas …i dont know either its working good …or how it sopposed to be …
my routine of using it is three times a day and for sun screen and moisturerizer im using neautrogena spf30 and for face wash clean and clear .one … and i only use benzoyl lotion one time since today …
but myskin …this acne i m having is first time in my life …myskin is always clear ..and now … :o

the reason your skin is reacting so badly is becuase benzoyl is very strong. also, u may want to admit to the possibility that you might be allergice to it. blv it or not, alot of ppl are. my cousins are and there reaction looked liked something u described.
if you have found that you are NOT allergic to it, then start by applying it 1x a day and nightime and then gradually work your way up to 2x and then 3x. its pretty drastic for your skin to all of a sudden start applying it 3 times.

ummm i think this wat happen i put it three times a day ...............i thought as i pray five times a day so it comes off whenever i wash my face ..........but i guess i should not supposed to do that ......thanks for ur help ...i really appreciate:)
You're using it too often Mrs. Outkast, benxoyl peroxide gets absorbed into the skin and doesn't need to be re-applied after washing your face. It will cause peeling and flakiness make sure that you don't touch the raw/broken skin or try to peel it away yourself.
Use a good moisturizer and a sunblock.

use cylix and cliquinal cream both mix together 10g each so it will rejuvenates and vitamin c in cylix will improve new cell formation and blood circulation
I've never heard of either cylix or cliquinal cream.. if u're using benzoyl peroxide, for acne.. stick to it for sometime before using anything else on u're face.

ok thanks gina...... yeah today it looks better caz i stop using gel soap face wash yesterday and today i used cream cleaner wash instead and today im feeling less stretching in my facial skin ...........and yeah my skin is peeling off ... and i m telling myselp not to touch it(BUT SOME TIME IN FRONT OF MIRROR I CANT STOP MY SELF) peeling it off............thanks for ur advice ....i ll stick to it ...caz im feeling improving in my acne too and pimples are drying too but their color change like dark brown so now they are more noticeable...but im hoping it will go away too .......

one more thing would u help me to choose the best cream wash ...caz i have dry skin ......soap wash makes my skin very tight ......
Neutrogena cream cleanser, Johnsons foaming face-wash will both work well for u're skin condition. When u're acne settles and the marks go from red to a dark brown..that's when u can apply things to lighten them.. not right now.
Alhamdulilah u're skin is gettig better :)
