Are u sure it was because of the bleach? Were u on any other facial treatments like microderm/laser/peels etc?
how about neither :D i prefer bleaching :) cant really put myself thru the torture of getting the whole face waxed. Also, the fact that my skin is quite sensitive wouldnt help.
i've noticed in movies and close up pictures kareena kapoor and aishwarya rai bleach their face but honestly when the sun hits your face you look furry. I have heard so many desi guys complain about hairy women and then i mention how persian girls tend to be a bit more harrier and they go for them and they say lol their face and lax attitude makes up for it lol. but ya i hear a ton of guys say it looks bad, i myself notice it too, i didn't have a problem with that in high school like some girls did but as i got older ya i did and i think getting rid of it be it laser, waxing, threading is all good.
Do you want to appear furry to people? i wouldn't... oh and when you have longer yellow bleached strands on your face and tanned skin it looks pretty crappy. do yourself a favor and find a better method.

a furry face isn't the end of the world. most white women have peach fuzz, it's completely normal and you don't hear men complaining about it. i agree you need to be fair to pull it off though.
i feel sorry for women like my friend who had hair that could have easily been dealt with by bleaching (she's fair and it was fine and downy) but instead she started threading and waxing. now the hair is coarse and unruly in it's growth, and she's got loads of scars from ingrowns etc.

my childhood best friend was a super hair blonde girl, when the sun hit your face u did notice, kids made fun of her in the neighborhood and as she gold older just like us desi girls she waxed her unwanted hair. i work with a lady and i wish she did bc whenever we talk if the sun is setting in my office it totally shows and it does look bad. ppl may not complain to your face but chances are they do notice it just like the american ppl i work with that comment on it.

I prefer threading. Waxing removes the upper layer of your skin, thus making it more sensitive to the damages of sun exposure. After waxing, make sure to apply sunscreen to your face/hands/arms 15-30 minutes prior to going out in the sun.
Some girls breakout like crazy by threading the sides of u're face.. I agree with stoppit.. desi guys aren't really obsessed about facial furry hair.. it's natural, and maintaining a good complexion is more imp than waxing the sides of u're face to please them.
i have fine downny hair on the sides of my face...i have waxed just once and broke out ...
so i wud never ever do that wax thing:-/ but recently i threaded the sides myself and still its fine..so i find threading a better option!
