facial process

Re: facial process

btw, the patch used for blackheads like Biore, etc...apparently, they get the job done, but they also do a little extra, which is that they pull out little hairs as well, and then the hairs start growing back more than before and so u have this new prob....or something like that..... a lady at the pharmacy told me.

Re: facial process

for blackheads try Noxzema blackhead cleanser.....visit Noxzema's site.

Re: facial process

Anyone with too many blackheads must not be cleaning their face regularly, except rushing themselves, and not taking proper care, otherwise they'll not have their nose filled with blackheads.
One should get facial done from the professional one in a while the do the rest at home.
Nose patch was just a suggestion to get the job done, atlest it is better than getting their nose pressed with the blackhead remover form the professional.

Re: facial process

My experience has been the following:
1) i never had blackheads, but what i did notice was that, if i ate oily foods and didnt wash my face enough, id get a few specs here and there...
2) in winters if i used a heavy moisturizer, id get a few black dots on my nose...

so i did some research..and after a bunch of trial and error experiments i stumbled upon a routine.
Retinol takes care of blackheads...but not all retinol creams are created equal..i was using Afirm3x and it gave me more blackheads...so i switched to Skinceuticles..
Glycolic acid works wonders...peels,wash,and lightweight lotions.
Salicylic acid peels once or twice a week keeps everything in place...

but again...this has been my experience.... :)

Re: facial process

The thing with Retinol unfortunately is that skin becomes prone to wrinkles and becomes extra senstive to sunlight.
Doctors donot recommend using it for longer periods.

I used to have Glycolic peels done every month with the products but then got bored. These days its just me with my drug store cleanser and moisturizer.

I do spend a fortune though on eye cream Its from a company called Searcret.
Their products have Dead Sea stuff and its wonderful and worth the money.

Re: facial process

you shouldnt use retinol around your eyes...
and a glycolic peel must be combined with salicylic acid peel...to get great results...
eye creams...hmmmm...i havnt really thought about them...but i ve read...you should apply anything around your eyes...i dont know....im still a little skeptical abt that..

Re: facial process

Umm you do get wrinles in areas around eyes so whether you apply retinol around your eyes or not, the place where you apply to it becomes thin and it might look nice now, when you hit 40+ and your skin starts loosing its elascticity one would be prone to more wrinkles compared to people who havnet used the product.

Re: facial process

I know many aunties...and they are religious about using retinol.....mid to upper 40s...and look gorgeous...no wrinkles...besides..if you are worried about wrinkles...dont use it on your entire face...just the nose and chin area....where you have the stubborn blackheads.....
