So summer is upon us, and I’m noticing the sun a lot more.
In the past I’ve used Devita solar protective SPF 30 and it was wonderful, blends into the skin smoothly, doesn’t leave a whitish hue. Only draw back is that it’s not available at any stores, and I’ve always had to order it online.
Currently using Neutrogena healthy defense SPF 50 which is also good, and get absorbed quite nicely.
What’s everyone else using? Any recommendations?

I switch between kiehl's ultra facial moisturizer SPF 15 along with their Abyssine cream which has a higher SPF....both work equally great...facial one is more runny but the cream is thicker but I wear it more for anti-aging purpose
I really am dreading summer sunshine rays in these coming months :(

I use Devita and love it! Yes it needs to be ordered online but that doesn't bother me. I usually order 1 when I have 1/3 of the current tube left. The high % of Zinc in this makes it a great choice. I have yet to find a sunscreen I can buy in-store with similar % of Zinc. I used to use Neutrogena Sheer Dry Touch but stopped when I read about/tried Devita.

Paheli, I got Devita initially on your recommendation and it worked so well until I ran out and had to get Neutrogena. Where online do you buy it from?

There are 2 types of sunscreens.....chemical and physical. Zinc is used in physical sunscreens. It works immediately compared to chemical sunscreens which needs to be absorbed into the skin......among other benefits. If you search on google you'll get plenty of info. on this. :)

Ah ok....I'm glad you liked the Devita! :) I buy mine at Amazon but its sold at several different sites.

I use Aveeno SPF for face 100+
Bought mine at CVS. Not sure if its available elsewhere. It's a little thick so I mix it with my moisturizer and one drop of rosehip or Argan oil in the morning. Works great. Dosent break me out. Love it!
