Threading will hurt way too much.
My skin is sensitive to wax, dont 'see the point of being hairless if t’ll be read and covered in tiny pimples!
What are the other alternatives? 
Also, my mother says removing the hair from teh sides will make that area darker. Any troof to dat?

It depends on your skin…but it is a possibility. It can happen. If you did wax or thread I would suggest sunscreen.

Depilatories may be.
I have used it for my underarms and they are dark. I have stopped using for a long time now. I used to shave before I used depilatory cream but not sure and cannot remember if underarms got dark after the use or if they were always like this.
I have been waxing my sideburns for a long time and they did not get dark. What happens is that as soon as the fuzz and the hair start coming back (I have dark hair) the sideburns start looking darker because of the hair but when the hair were removed (waxed) the skin is not dark underneath.
The other slightly expensive and permanent solution would be electrolysis.
