Facial Features versus Color of Skin

If one changes the color of skin the same features can be said to related to being Caucasian or even so called ‘Indian race’.

The reason could be that many residents of Indian subcontinent have genes from areas which came from outside.

And hence the ‘features’ are same, color may be different.

1- Next time you see someone ‘white’, imagine that person has brown/dark brown skin.

You will see a person from Pakistan/India/Siri Lanka etc.!

2- Next time you see someone from these countries, imagine that person has ‘white skin’,
…you may develop totally different idea of that person.

and the pt of this thread is?.......

Re: Facial Features versus Color of Skin

1- Incite people to think in this way. Use imagination when look at people.

2- Sharing that features may be same despite color difference.

3- Dividing races based only on geographic distribution or color difference is not correct. :)

Re: Facial Features versus Color of Skin

1- The thread has nothing to do with established race based on features..like mongoloids (Chinese), Negroes etc.

2- The point is that there is no such thing like pure 'Indian race'.

There are many races combined in Indian sub continent.

Many people in Pakistan can easily be considered Caucasians and just because they have brown skin, they are not really different from so called whites or Caucasians based on features.

Read about how there may not be a pure race called Indian race.

And then people do get confused what to write about themselves when some forms need to be filled out about their race or ethnicity.
