You seem to be judging me. So let me clarify myself for YOU. Let’s say that I decide to eat at Olive Garden, which is an Italian restaurant. Yes, it serves non-halal meat and alcohol. BUT I DON"T HAVE TO BUY THE ALCOHOL. I CAN ALWAYS PICK A HALAL ITEM FROM THE MENU SUCH AS A VEGETARIAN DISH.
And I might attend the wedding of a non-muslim friend. And there might be an open bar at the wedding. BUT THAT DOESN"T MEAN THAT I HAVE TO DRINK ALCOHOL. I could stay away from the bar. I could dress conservatively for the wedding. I could participate in activities that are more Islamically appropriate.
The message that I was trying to convey is that regardless of the situaton/environment that one is in…ONE has to use their own common sense and do what is right.
Hi … I just reread my message, and you are right … I did sound as if I was judging you. I apologize sincerely, that was not my intention, it just came out that way and yah I guess I agree with you it all depends on intentions and what one does with it
I am sorry again for sounding mean
