http://hss-prod.hss.aol.com/hss/storage/adam/cac838064058850590004ade85f02a9/fb-test-build.jpg In a test build of its mobile software for Android devices, Facebook seems to be finally headed down the flat UI path that Twitter and a host of other apps have already traveled. Aside from that, navigation in this build has been shuffled around to make room for title text and a search icon according to the findings of the folks over at Android Police](Facebook 4.0 Test Build Reveals Drastically Revamped Design [APK Download]). Buttons for News Feed, friend requests, updates, notifications and the complete menu are situated just below with controls for both status and photo posts alongisde check-ins relegated to the bottom of the screen. Of course, this is pre-release software and the aforementioned tweaks may get scraped much like Twitter did with a beta version last week before the official rollout.
