I enjoy seeing the latest pakistani designers but not when these facebook groups slap their name or watermark all over the pictures. Also why can’t more of them show their own work and sample pieces? I have to say I appreciate the groups that show their own replicated outfits next to the original pictures and what not.

cuz self declared designers aka glorified copycats who have access to a darzee or two are just that. and that is why original designers watermark their images so johnny come lately, no creative bone in their body, chappa maars dont pass it as their own designs :)

Hve you seen prototype's page? I am not a customer of hers, or ever used her for clothes, but that is like the only group with original work in it's pictures, most of the others are copied from each other

Alot of facebook vendors do use others work to glorify themselves, its sad but true!!
Prototypes work is amazing as well as Sam's Boutique on facebook. I ordered 2 outfits from her and the stitching as well as the overall look of the outfit was amazing :). Proto Im a regular client of -

Every single homebase designer do the copy work bcoz thats the clients requirements they want them so the home base venders when make for them they display it also because they want more bussiness so its no ones boat that who dont and who do every single one of them do the copy work because the orignal designer outfits are very expensive so they offer them in low budget.
They are no qualified designers they just pick the pictures take them to the workers /karighars that we want it to b emade like that other then mixing 2,3 designs and make new one no educational background so they cant create their own or its very risky that people always adour the brands no matter how stupid the design is but the label matters.

if they dont design, they are not designers are they? :) home based or footpath based does not matter

Parkha Khan's FB page (dewdrops couture) did have many original designs. Has anyone ordered from her? Id like to know, as I am thinking of ordering :)

you know i have nothing against those that replicate outfits and show this is MY version of it and watermark it i do mind when ppl watermark other designer’s work or when ppl quote you insane prices for designer knock offs because they assume western people are just made of money or something. then you read their fb walls and people are asking why their calls are not returned or emails. that to me is a major red flag for groups to avoid. oh well…
