i want to save my pics in my facebook account…but is there any settings that no one can see my pics except me

That’s kinda killing the purpose of it.
Plus did you know that once you upload the pictures to FaceBook those images are the property of FB? You can delete your account and they would still have your picture. So be careful what you upload there. This is one of the reasons why there was such a hoopla about FB privacy issue.

i have lost 100 of my pics in my last pc..its HD crashed

u must have burned them on a CD …

i always save all the pics and burn them on CD or DVD

I’ve used Photobucket.com and its got private album options. Picasa.com (Google company) also has pretty good features, and its connected to your gmail account (if you have one). Picasa actually installs a piece of software on your PC with which you can not only upload pictures but also do limited graphic editing. Try it out www.picasa.com

As an alternative, i would suggest Picasa.

BTW, i don’t know if Picasa save your pictures even if you remove your account (like FB)..??

Porcelein .. u can upload them if u have gmail id , jst zip them in a folder n upload them in documents folder … thts how i do n download them wher ever u required..

^^ Lol, or you can print them out and put it in your safe and lock it.

Facebook is not for photo sharing or storage. Photo sharing as in like Photobucket etc. Facebook is to show your pics to people.

Picasa is the best if you want to backup your pics for your private use only ..

as ppl saying abt here in facebook pics r property of FB…is this case wid picasa too?

I don’t think so .. .. Picasa is from google and google is quiet sensible when it comes to users data :slight_smile:
