Facebook Addiction.

How does it happen? :konfused:

Ok maybe back when FB was brand spankin’ new… I might understand the feeling of “needing” to be on all the time… but what’s so great about it now?

Are you addicted to facebook?
Are you constantly logged in or checking other people/ pages/ celebs’ updates?
Are you one of those who update every chance you take a breath?

:chai:

Re: Facebook Addiction.

Re: Facebook Addiction.

not addicted but i do check it every time i get a notification on my phone and while I am there i stalk a few profiles

Re: Facebook Addiction.

I wouldn’t say I am addicted but I log in everyday and see what’s up. I update my status if I feel like it otherwise I won’t.

I also use it quite a bit for work and business purposes so its more of a job now which keeps me from loving it too much…lol

Re: Facebook Addiction.

Never cared much for it, so never made a profile.

Re: Facebook Addiction.

Not even a fake one? With a picture of Tony Danza as the profile picture?

Re: Facebook Addiction.

Why Tony Danza of all people? To show people who’s the boss?

Re: Facebook Addiction.

used to be addicted but facebook has the tendency to make your private life a public property so no more addiction and minimum usage.

Re: Facebook Addiction.

I don’t think i’m addicted to facebook but almost all my friends from school, college and current co-workers including family is on there. I get to see how my cousin that I haven’t seen in 15 years is doing and who’s having another baby and who just graduated from school. I think it’s a nice way to keep in touch with people/family that you don’t get to see very often. Now when I see my 11 year old cousins posting half naked pictures of jessica alba and britney spears…that’s when it gets a little awkward  other than that a little addiction with fb is fine as long as it doesn’t get in the way of your homework and studying for the finals :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Facebook Addiction.

Cmon’ its Tony! “Aaayyyyy”… oh wait I think I’m mistaking him for Fonzei. Ok ok Fonzi a picture of Fonzie “Aaaaayyyyy”.

Re: Facebook Addiction.

Lol. “Aaye oh, oh Aaye” was Tony.

Re: Facebook Addiction.

wailay log.

Re: Facebook Addiction.

Fonzie > Tony! No doubt.

I deactivate my FB because I don’t use it… Then people throw temper tantrums and say I’m ignoring/ avoiding them and I feel bad so I reactivate it and hardly use it :bummer:
Not much of a fan of online social networking.

Re: Facebook Addiction.

No that was Fonzie! Get your sitcoms right Velvet!

Re: Facebook Addiction.

I am not addicted to FB. I use it to get updates and content from select pages and groups that I follow. They are mostly social and political in nature.

Re: Facebook Addiction.

use it for updates and to keep in touch with people
never update it myself
that’s it

hate people who put up like 10000s of pix

Re: Facebook Addiction.

Yup, addict.

Don’t update status often and have no pictures uploaded but regularly interact with friends on FB whether in town or halfway across the world. Facebook is one of the most effective way to communicate with someone obligation-free: respond when you want to, unlike BBM/Skype etc.
