I’ve been confused all my life over what face wash to use. in 19 yrs of my life, i still haven’t found the right one. what face washes do you guys use? i’m talking about the ones that are used daily.
also, what kind should i use for my sensitive, extremely oily, acne prone skin?

Same here. I went through every brand possible and now I use Murad's clarifying cleanser because I have extremely sensitive, rash and acne prone skin. It's been a year and a half and I love it! I also use Peter Thomas Roth buffing beads twice a week or so before applying facewash. It makes the skin so smooth! You can find both of those at Sephora. For regular intense scrubbing I use the St. Ives Apricot scrub which is my all time fav. The good thing about PTR beads is since they are a bit pricey, you can buy a small sized bottle which I did to try it out and then invested in a bigger one.
Marwah i have same problem and my skin is senstitive, oily and acne prone.
at my local price line shop, a beaution told me to use products that are for senstitive skin but oil free.
i have started to use the following Neutrogena Deep Clean® Cream Cleanser and found it to be very effective.
I have acne prone skin and in teh pas have used Murad's clarifying cleanser. Currently using a bioglycolic oily skin cleansing gel by Jan Marini but only because i have bad skin.
My sister also had acne prone skin and for her Neutrogena works fine, i think its the same one posted by aikthilarki.
My mom uses Olay face wash in a pump and sometimes when i am visiting, i use it too and it leaves my skin wonderfully soft.

Murad's clarifying cleanser sounds good, i'll consider getting that but i'm not sure if i should get the buffing beads. i use foundation pretty much every time i go out and i wash it off neutrogena's deep clean scrub with microbeads. i don't use a makeup remover but now i'm thinking i should because i use my scrub almost everyday. i've been using it about 2 yrs now and it makes my skin feel really smooth, but i feel as if my skin has become too smooth and not in a good way. my skin is SO shiney now, even when the oil is washed off, you can almost see your reflection on my cheeks and forehead, i'm not even kidding! so i'm not too sure about the scrub, unless it has other benefits, but i'll definitely try out the cleanser and the apricot scrub which the whole world has, except me lol. thanks!
i used that about 5 yrs ago and seemed to like it..hmm..is it something you use everyday, twice a day? because i need something i can use every morning and right before bed.

i think i'll check out Murad's cleanser and Neutrogena..thanks!
For oily skin, try washing with besan (gram flour). Test a small portion of your face first to see if you are not sensitive to it. You shouldn't be, but better to check. i sued to sue it when my skin was very oil prone in pakistan and my skin reamined shine free for hours.
i use BIOR'E ice cleanser. i use twice a day and love it. lady at the shop told me to use regular, twice a day, and not to rub my skin hard to aviod pimples and acne problems.
also rinse face several times during the day with WATER only and not to touch skin.
my couins do this and they have great skin. but i cant follow this strict as i play with my face.
My skin is oily, very acne-prone and very sensitive. I've been using Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil face wash and quite liking it. It doesn't over-dry my face and leaves it fresh and light. My sister uses Cetaphil facewash which I've tried a few times and liked it.
I used to try diff face washes...then I tried Pears soap...it worked gr8...skin felt soft n smooth...
Now I just use regular soaps...(Olay to be particular)...don't see any difference..
They all basically do the same thing...clean your skin...just make sure whatever it is...is not cheap quality and not too drying...thats it.
I mosturize when its needed and use ST Ives Apricot Face Scrub every 2 3 days..
Never had any acne prblm or anything...

oo sounds good! blemishes are another problem i have to take care of..thanks!
I just use Clean & Clear for Sensitive skin & it works great for me. I find some other face washes leave skin feeling oily, esp some neutrogena products. I want to give Cetaphil a try, is it available at like a Rite Aid or CVS?
