suroor instead of scrubs try using exfoliance......they are almost same things but exfoliance have softer grains....i use Lancome's product since i have extremely oily skin, and it works really good on my skin. I have used orange peel before but didn't see any difference :( the formula irem gave looks good...let us know if u try it :)

Irem, do you use the gram flour dry on its own or do you mix it with water?

thanks everyone :) will try them for sure..

just one more thing.. ubtan is good for ur skin as well i heard.. is it true?

try using the one from Nivea or Neutrogena; its for men :~)

b/w if you are using it for acne, then you should pay a visit to ur doc.

What do you do with orange peel…rub it on your face?..the orange side or the white side?..

the orange side  the fresh , the better it is.

try the almond apricot scrub…mmmmm…fresh feeling

suroor, it also depends on your skin type too..for irem besan works..for others it might not work..like my skin gets dry with besan..so i mix other ingredients as well..sometimes honey etc. I have tried a powder orange peel mixture..it was ayurvedic that i got from an indian store..i loved it :)

i love trying and experimenting new things all the time :)

here's something i found for you:

Light scrub:

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons ground oats
2 tablespoons ground almonds
1 teaspoon green tea or distilled water
1 teaspoon whipping cream
1 drop rose essential oil

Blending Procedure:

Combine oats and almonds and stir to incorporate.

In a separate container, mix together the tea (or water), cream and essential oil. Stir well to combine.

Add the tea mixture to the oats and almonds, stirring to incorporate fully. Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes before using. To use, wet face and hands. Warm scrub between palms and apply to face and neck using gentle circular motions. You may leave it on as a light mask for about 10 minutes. Rinse and follow with toner and moisturizer. If you have oily skin, substitute skim milk for the whipping cream, substitute lemon essential oil for geranium essential oil and add one additional teaspoon of ground oats.

NATURAL LEMON EXFOLIANT
