face masks

The besan mask never did anything for me at all. Everyone keeps saying it does wonders but it didnt do crap for me :(. I actually occasionally like using ubtan as a scrub/mask. I love the Norangi Ubtan easily availible in Pakistan.

sorry for posting twice!

so how was it.

I've gotten some PMs asking how much of each?
just enough so that you have a thick paste ...

doesn’t ubtan make the skin too yellowish?? :S

Have you tried Proactive(package) for acne? My sister had acne and she really liked this brand. :k:

I use a lot of stuff...:p

Mudd Spa treatment masks are my favorite. I have two different ones. First one I use once a week and the other one I use every other day. I use herbal face pack and besan too sometimes. Helps a lot in keeping the skin free of dirt and acne pimples.

Muniya, thanks for the recipe...I'm going to try it soon!

^^, CA no wonder you have such beautiful skin :D
Yeah i have tried proactive and murad and Allah knows what else!!!! Its a lot better after Accutane Alhamdulillah but all this acne has left my skin in bad condition :(
Ubtan makes me glow though :Pretty:

Ira  either you’re being too nice or sarcastic to me..:hehe: Thanks anyway for saying that…

Hey I know it’s hard to get rid of those spots…My sister had the worst acne and guess she tried dozens of creams and stuff but nothing really worked but her acne problem was gone soon after she got married…so I guess another method that will probably work for you is getting married…

has no one mentioned this yet?

MULTANI MATTI

thx Muniya

bari himmat hae aap mein :mash: ye wakhtay meray bas kee baat nai kasam se :frowning:

CA, I am serious, you do have beautiful skin, MaashaAllah! :)

irem, mulani mitti??Hmm......i am not a big fan , since it makes my skin too dry at spots but it can be a good mask for oily skin.
ANother thing i used while in pak was "chanbaili ki khali". I think it translates into bark of jasmine but I am not so sure. Anyways, it made my skin so smooth and soft and fragrant after every wash. you would mix it with water and use as a scrub/face wash. :Pretty:

Heres a heads up. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the face pack ingrediants beforehand, especcially if you have overly sensitive skin.

I had the misfoortune of using a face mask that I was extremely allergic to which corroded my skin and burnt through. And left scars for well over a year, I wasn't the most attractive girl on the block for quite a while after that and had to use medicated skin healing creams.

Great, innit.

:Pretty:

i tried the besan mask a few weeks ago. i liked it! very refreshing.

i also found a "mint julep" masque at the store. i loooove the way it makes my skin look and feel.

try Montagne Jeunesse' peach kernel n walnut exfoliating mask...

damn, mysmiss, har dafa aa kay kaam kharab kar deti ho, i was gona copy paste the “Montagne Jeunesse’ peach kernel n walnut exfoliating mask…” to make some numbers with the girls but u beat me to it. :grumpy:

I have never tried that besan mask thing ..it sounds a bit weird :-s

I got this new one from The Body Shop that I highly recommend. Natural Oceanic Clay Ionic Mask. It leaves the skin feeling so nice.

My therapist uses this Algae (sp?) Mask of which the spelling I dont remember but it smells like a warm seafood salad, she first has to though cover my face up with a gauze and then apply the mask, I end up smelling like I work at the fish market but it does wonders to the skin. The skin just glows.

hmm homemade masks are much better than so called high quality (name brand) and expensive masks and facial scrubs cause homemade masks are totally chemical free and 100% pure and natural

kaka, hur dafa ka kia muthlub..
lol, stop copying me..u havnt even tried the mask..

Mehnaz, i gota try that one, inshalah..

For the besan mask can you tell me how to make it completely. Tell what to add and how much of each ingredient to add. Also what does it do for ur face and how many times in a week or month should u use it? I never tried homemade masks or scrubs. But I want to try it. And does the mask help pimples because I am breaking out a lot these days.
