hey all…
well i wanted to ask that how many of u use face illuminator? and when do u use it, on special eves or daily? do u think it gives a nice glow to skin..?
i bought revlon skinlights illuminator a few months ago…so can u please tell ur opinions about it…also please tell me that should i apply it before my foundation or after?
I currently use Benefit's High Beam. I apply it on top of my foundation & powder, what I do is just dab a few dots on my cheekbones and/or other areas I want to highlight and blend it in very lightly. I'm not sure about your product though.... I would recommend experiment a bit with it, try mixing it in with your foundation one day and applying on top another day and observe how it looks. Have fun :)

i use a illuminator or a highlighter to bring out my cheekbones, i have two different ones that i like, one is a benefit one and not so strong hence i use whenever, the other is quite strong so il use that if im going to a wedding, eid, etc.
when i was lookin for a illuminator i would try out loads of different things, i even used a mineralize eyeshadow as a highlighter. :) good luck
Face illuminators can be great if the right amounts are used, just enough to give a beautiful glow to the skin...if too much is used, it can make the skin look very shiny.
If a few drops are mixed with foundation, that is ideal...revlons skintints are fab for this. A good illuminator to use under foundation, is the MAC strobe cream, which also give a gorgeous glow.
Benefit's highbeam just on the cheekbones looks absoloutely stunning :)

okz so i tried applying it under the foundation, and also above..and i guess the under look was better ....i now apply it approx daily by mixing in a moisturizer... :)
i use benefit high beam and recently i discovered Shimmering Facial Whip by Cosmetics and Makeup – ELF Cosmetics UK – Eyes Lips Face , its light and gives a radiant look above all with no greasy after-feel., and not so pricey as well. it suits me pretty well , ELF is giving FREE Studio 27 piece Makeup Collection worth £15 with every order of £25 or more!!Please use coupon code AGIFT4U on your ‘shopping bag’ page to qualify.
** You can put it over foundation in specific areas that you want highlighted usually above cheek bones down the nose under the brows slight sweep on forehead. You can wear in the day so long as it's not too frosty/shimmery remember w/oliy skin it will look more shimmery and should be used sparingly so it doesnt get muddy or dirty or show imperfections . Less is always better and think about what type of lighting you will be in at the time.**
^ Its a product that 'lightens' or 'brightens' the areas on your face that naturaly catch the light i.e. forehead, cheek bones, nose and chin.
No name00, I would recommend Dior Skinflash for an everyday natural glow. But for special occasions you might want something more such as MAC Strobe cream.
