So which fabric do you like for your desi cloths and why.

Which one make you look slim and which ones make u big?

I like chiffon silk makes me look bigger..

I like china silk, its so delicate and it also makes me look bigger.

I don't like net, its looks so bulky sometimes.

I like raw silk and thinking of getting something out of it.

Wht r u doing ?

i like chiffon- and i think it makes you look slimmer. organza makes u look fat

avoid stiff fabrics

I avoid net, organza and sometimes even velvet. Chiffon and silk makes me look slimmer.

If its a thin velvet, and dark colored, its actually pretty flattering to the body. I have this one velvet dress that even today, still drives me crazy.

Organza and net - I don't know who came up with the bright idea of making shalwaar kameez's out of them, but not only do they add 10 lbs onto you, but they're ridiculously uncomfortable.

Khaddi isn't too bad of a material either. its pretty comfortable, and the designer "Khaddi" has some reasonably affordable semi-formal wear at his boutique.

Yes, thin velvet is ok but it clings to the body. I have some velvet that's ok.

Chiffon, georgette, crinkle,, chiffon jamawar all drape reall well and have "fall" really well..

Net, organza, velvet, khaadi (or any stiff/starched cotton) and satin are all tricky!
