F1 2004

The formula one season began in Albert Park, Melbourne today with the qualifying session - the format has changed this year with the friday qualifying session being abandoned and now the the two qualifying sessions will be held back to back on the same day i.e Sat. Rest of the rules remain the same..

So whats the F1 season in 2004 going to be like?

McLaren have introduced new car but have doubts on its reliability. Williams

I am putting my money on Montoya and Raikkonnen to challenge Schumi’s position this year..

and its coming to bahrian in april :hula:

Any Schumacher fans out there? No - what a surprise - if he didn't win all the time he wouldn't be so bad...oh well.

Regarding British drivers - i am glad that there are only two this year - Firman (who was driving for Jordan last year btw) and to a lesser extent Wilson didn't deserve their drives last year IMO - the only reason why they got drives was because they were British and because most teams are British based.

i would love to see Williams win - particularly Montoya too - good to see that he's qualified in 3rd and looks to be the only one to have a chance of beating the Ferraris tomorrow - Button is looking good for a first podium tomorrow (he qualified 4th) - it would be good to see.
