and a request to post all the F1 results and comments for the year here
today the McLaren car looked promising....Kimi Raikonnen is a very good driver as well..this one and Renaults ( Jacques Villeneuve ) should give Ferrari a run...the only thing remains to be seen is the longevity of these cars - can they give the same performance throughout the race?
Hats off to the Minardi team and how they exploited the loop hole in the new rules. True, they will start at the back of the grid, but I wasnt expecting a minow like Minardi to take such a bold step, and that too on the 2nd day of the season. Today’s race will be nonetheless exciting with IMO a lot of teams making a quick splash’n’dash at the very start. I dont know if the Ferraris were able to make pole :halo: due to lighter fuel loads or their top class engines.
wow what a cracker of a race…a GP has never seen such a topsy turvy race for a long long time..When I saw the starting grid I was expecting the Ferrari to continue its domination into the 2003 as well…and at the end there was no Ferrari on the podium!!!
frankly speaking it was a error-ridden race(strategic as well driving)first Ferrari went into the race with the intermediates preventing them from going into overdrive..
the disappointment of the race was Montoya not finishing first…he spun at a corner to yield the lead to Coulthard…all in all a thrilling start to the season..
