F-16 is the best fighting machine man has ever made in terms of performance to cost ratio.... There are better air- crafts available in 2019 but they are either too costly or not easy to operate.... Pakistan should integrate the next blocks of homemade JF-17 thunders using the same technology which F-16 uses..

We are masters of reverse engineering. Our next generation of JF 17 Thunder is comparable in performance to F 16.

All the export variants of American technology be it civil or military, come with strict measures against piracy. If it was that easy to copy, half the world would be making F16s in their backyards by now. There's a reason why Chinese couldn't get much out of F16 avionics or engine technology despite having full access to them via PAF for the past 30 years.
A senior friend had once told me about his time at SUPARCO where part of his job would be to try to scrape off thick black epoxy type stuff from US provided old electronic components, to try to reverse engineer. Couldn't get jack out of them.
No, you cannot reverse engineer F16s. Had it been possible, it would have been done by now. Better to improve our own Thunders, I heard they were trying to upgrade to a twin-seater cockpit and to also develop a new radar which could track and engage many more targets. Any one having any info if this has been achieved or not yet?
