i need some good matte eyeshadows.. i usually buy bourjois but even they have a bit of a sparkle in them.. i already have oily eyelids so after a while of wearing makeup.. they shine!! i need some good matte eyeshadows.. what brand should i look for..
also…anyone use gel or cream blushes here… what was your exp.. i really wanna try em out.. but thought lets hear what ppl havta say bout em first…
I really like the mac matte eyeshadows. I just apply them with one of their brushes and they stay pretty well. Im not too good with sponge applicators i always end up with too much color with those.
Also there is a drugstore brand called jane, they have some nice colors too- not as long lasting as mac but not bad for the price and for every day wear.
The best brand for eyeshadows is MAC. Check out the TONS of shades they have on their website. The colors are very vibrant and long lasting. Also, be sure to use a eye shadow base BEFORE applying the eye shadow. I personally use Clinique’s Touch Base for Eyes.
i hardly ever wear eyeshadow. to me it screams "hi look i have eyeshadow on!". i mean everyone knows you arent born with bright blue lids. but when you get dressed up for parties and all i guess some glitter and sparkle is all good. if u get oily lids then why do u want eyeshadow? instead try using the same blush-on that u use on your cheeks on your lids. its not only a money saver but it looks much more natural and balances the whole look. try using the same blush brush on your eyes. try using a bronzer on the eyes too.
anyways i've heard lots about eyeshadow primers. never used them but i heard they make eyeshadow last really long. try that...
yeah thats why u choose colors that are in the same undertone family as your natural lipcolor to look most natural.
having pinkish/reddish lips is natural…blue/green lidded eyes arent
Bobby Brown and Dior have a fantastic range of matte eyeshadows for this season. MAC do matte but I dont really like any of thier spring season shades.
I have used a cream blush, for me it was a huge no-no, they are awful to apply and it went straight to my younger sister who is extremely grateful for my fazool spending habits.
