Check out the makeup store with mothercare, they carry NYX brand and it is pretty good. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube in using these eyeshadows.

I wear glasses so don't spend a lot of time on eyemakeup. But I used their jumbo eye pencil as the base and then used the colors. Also I bought make up fixing spray from sephora so that my make up wouldn't run. Last when I checked NYX had some eyeshadow palettes that were really nice. Mac is good but I can't justify spending that much on makeup that I use once or twice a year.

Where in the middle east are you? I’m in the ME now as well and there is NO shortage of makeup here at all. I see MAC stores, Sephora, Faces, Debenhams, Harvey Nichols, etc every mall I go to. I am not sure about mid-range or drugstore brands like NYX, Revlon and where they might be sold BUT one I highly recommend, especially for mattes, is INGLOT. There are several stores in the Middle East and their eyeshadows retail for $5 pr $6 where MAC is $11-$15. Why not go to an Inglot store and make your own palette of colors you like? They offer empty palettes which you can customize and fill up so you can create your own matte palette.

No problem. Can you PM me and tell me where you find NYX in the Middle East and where exactly you're based from? I'm wondering if there are any other drugstore brands like L'Oreal and Max Factor available so I can at least get my mascaras without having to ask friends from America to send them, lol.

If you're in UAE, then go to any Carrefour's makeup section. They have Revlon, Nivea, L'oreal and possibly Maybelline's selection there. Otherwise go to Lifestyles (formerly Splash) and there the best brand you can get in Nyx. They have tons of eye stuff available and if on sale one color will cost you around 28 dirhams. The next brand is Bourjois to get. Lifestyle will also have L'oreal and Maybelline and some other British (as in I've never seen them in Canada) makeup brands available.
If you want super high end stuff, then just head to Dubai Mall or any Paris Gallery or some other store like that and they have the fancy brands there.

Coppering has a pinkish tone--looks lovely. Cranberry gives a deeper pink tone. Both are by MAC

A few of my favourites pinks from MAC are: sushi flower, cranberry swish and stars n rockets. If you pair these with a bluey-purple colours....looks super gorgeous!!!
