Microbian is right...ask him to see an Optometrist as soon as possible and start drinking carrot juice. :) good luck! :)

I have heard that sonaf and misri. Grind together with almonds is very good for eyesight.

definitely first priority should be to see an optometrist/opthalmalogist to check for disease and/or other conditions.
one of the things that I have done in the past and found to be super effective is apply pure honey in my eye every night for a month or two. not only did this stop my eyesight from further deterioration (I was becoming more and more near-sighted), it did improve as well.

there are a number of ways to do this…the one that I found most effective was to wash my hands well, dispense the honey in a small plate/flat surface, dip my fingertip and then apply like you would put kajal or eye-liner inside your lower lid.
it will sting for the first week or so but eventually you will build up a tolerance.

Prefer pure, organic honey that you can buy direct from the farm or health food store.
Definitely not the processed kind that comes in a jar shaped like a bear.

I do that as well, not for eyesight...but just to clear them out and it makes em sparkle. Have you noticed that eyes appear more shiny? Sometimes I do it before applying eye makeup.

I have organic honey that has hardened a bit due to cold weather. Should I warm it up before applying?!?

^Try giving it a good mix with a spoon first to see if it'll loosen up. honey can crystalize over time, but it's still good. Too much heat can destroy the beneficial enzymes/properties it has. Some people also dilute honey in water and then apply in the eyes; you can try that as well.

You can go to any eye hospital and consult an ophthalmologist to have quality eye treatment and do whatever he suggests either he suggest eye drops or suggest eyeglasses.
