ok so i tried all the eyeliners people said were brilliant, however they are not. i recently got the rimmel exaggerate one, was told it was great, its not, its so thin the pen bit. not sure whats better liquid or encil, but need one that stays put and doesnt smudge and looks proff. unless im doing it wrong…

you can use aqua charcoal gray colour liner it didnot smudge at all,be sure to get real one.its not oily .

nadz are you in pakistan? uk? us? dubai? I was told that black eyeliner can look harsh too but really it's to each their own. Brown eyeliner generally looks better on blondes and brunettes (in my opinion). Black eyeliner is classic. Black eyeliner on brown eyeshadow is beautiful too!
MAC's liquid black eyeliner is the best on the market and I have tried A LOT of eyeliners. If you prefer pencil then you should get Urban Decays black eyeliner. I'm not sure what the exact name is but if you go anywhere and ask for urban decay's black they will show you which one it is. This was is no liquid but I get compliments on it all the time. Sometimes a girl just doesn't feel like using liquid so that's a great solution. Bobbi Brown has a black eyeliner that comes in a pot. A lot of makeup artists use it to underline the bottom lid of the eye as well as the top. I use to use this one alll the time. It is beautiful but I feel like the MAC liquid eyeliner gives you the darkest, blackest color and it last forever (unless you rub your eyes than good luck to you!).

My favorite pencil eyeliner is** Urban Decay’s 24/7 Eye Liner** in “Zero”. My favorite liquid/gel liner is Loreal HIP’s gel liner (works just as good as MAC’s fluidline, in my opinion). Best drugstore brand liquid eyeliner is Revlon’s Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner.
I use the Sonia Kashuk’s bent eyeliner brush from Target to apply gel eyeliner. It makes it so much easier to see what you’re doing since it’s bent. Love this brush!!!

The Body Shop’s liquid eyeliner in brown. LOVE IT. I’ve used this one more than any other. I still have the eyeliner…but out of curiosity I checked the website just now…and it seems they’ve discontinued it 
They now have eyeliner in black or taupe and in a different bottle…but no brown. GAAH!! I hate it when this happens. Out of all the brands, The Body Shop has disappointed me the most. It used to have the BEST matte brown lipstick called Driftwood which was discontinued. Terracotta was lovely matte pink lipstick…discontinued. Copper was an awesome lipstick as well…yup…gone! 
I LOVE eyeliners of other colors as well. Cargo makes awesome eyeliner pencils with very rich pigments with quite the staying power. Their green is GORGEOUS and really compliments desi skin tone (especially tan with yellow undertones)…their purple is flattering as well.

I love the no.7 eyepencil - it's a dark colour and the quality is great - also if you have those £5 off vouchers from boots then it's not to expensive either. I'm really fussy when it come's to liquid eyeliner and the only one i've ever loved is MAC - i've got their felt tip one and the standard liquid one. It's a bit pricey though. I don't mind rimmel which is also good. Also my mum brought this pot of eyeliner which you use with a brush, i think it's called aqua but not too sure - i love this because the application is really simple and the eyeliner can be very dark!

I use Makeup Forever aqua eyes as well as Loreal HIP eyeliner. so far so good

I use the benefit Duo eyeliner, it has brown and black in the case. Ypu wet your eyeliner brush and apply the eyeliner. I alsi use Elizabeth Arden eyebrow palette as eyeliner and smudge it, I don't do the harsh black line anymore and find the smudged look actually is more sophisticated.
Also Mikyajii eyeliner pencil smudged. Smudge all the way for me!!!

i loved terecotta and copper as well, and there was a pink clover too. I use the bodyshop eyeliner in black and brown, works for me.
