Eyeliner tips

On a daily basis, I don’t wear eyeliner. I wear some neutral eyeshadow and mascara on my eyes along with some light kajal.

I’m not daring when it comes to make up. I keep things super simple, neutral and do what I know how to do. :hehe:

What I want to know are eyeliner tips for medium sized brown eyes. My eye shape you can see in my avatar to the left. I’m wearing contacts in that picture too.

I want to experiment with eyeliner colors and different looks. Any suggestions or ideas?

Re: Eyeliner tips

Dark brown looks really nice Reha, I used to experiment with ink blue, purples etc. But now I stick to my black/brown liner... once you get it right, you'll love it! For your eye-shape, start-off with a very narrow line going thicker as you go outwards.

Re: Eyeliner tips

Black, blue or even brown gel liners look great! However, brown may not look intense enough depending on your eye colour. I usually do cat eyes ( not sure if that's what you call them) with a flick at the end. You could apply a thick liner under the eye that gives the illusion of big eyes depending on the size of your eyes. Small eyes would look smaller but medium/big ones would look bigger. Also try apply a white pencil on the waterline.

Re: Eyeliner tips

a white pencil on my water line with my skin tone would look okay?

I am getting eyeliners in

plum

cobalt

brown

I also use blacktrack ONCE in a while. Not very often at all.

Also, what do you girls do to to make eyes look brighter?

Re: Eyeliner tips

Higlighter on the inner corner of the eye and concealer pretty much does the trick to make eyes brighter.

Re: Eyeliner tips

A few drops of rosewater in the eyes :@:

A frosted icy blue, pink, cream near the tear-duct always makes them appear brighter!

Try different ways Reha, sometimes just line the top, sometimes just the bottom... try lining your top, bottom and waterline as well.

Re: Eyeliner tips

how do you make eyes look larger? whenever i wear black eyeliner corner to corner, my eyes look smaller, according to everyone, but I love that black eyeliner look! just dotn know how to use it to make eyes larger!

Re: Eyeliner tips

what you can do with hazel brown eyes , which have width but not much length :bummer:

Re: Eyeliner tips

Sara, make a VERY fine line from your start uptill the middle of the top lid and make the line thicker towards the last 1/4 part of your eye and drag it in an upward sweep where the top lid ends. Line your waterline with a flesh or white (oily) pencil. A little smudge of any frosted color around the tearduct area also gives a 'wide/open' eye illusion. Follow-up with mascara!

Fairytale, you do the same ^

Re: Eyeliner tips

hi reha!
i logged in just to comment in here, firstly instead of white try using silver or pearl pencil, it looks more natural.
secondly try a navy blue eye pencil, it will make the whites of your eyes look even more whiter. Korres makes a navy blue liner and its all natural too.
