i had the most painful experience today! whilst curling my lashes one of the baby lashes near the corner of my eye got caught, and i had to yank on it to relase it! my eye started watering like mad :S

i wana ditch my metal curlers and go for the heated kind.

have any of you ladies got any good recomendations for curlers!

People call my lashes Jharoo cause they are ghanee and curly by nature

you should see 'em when I go swimming, the water makes them stick to each other and they look so nice.
I feel guilty cause they are a huge distraction for the life savers.

i heard that trimming the eyelash like 1 mm makes it grow longer, but too scared to take that risk

I knew a girl who did that. I don’t know how much she cut, but her eyelashes grew and were much thicker than they originally were.

Really CB! I have heard eylashes don't grow if you cut them off. Guess that proves it wrong.

FF, yeah...at least that's what she told me. But really, I was shocked at how much longer and thicker her eyelashes were compared to before.

I get mine from Space NK but I’m sure a guppy told me that they bought theirs for a fraction of the price from QVC. It comes in the form of a clear gel that you apply like mascara at night time.

Whats it called? If you don’t mind can you let me know, I would love to get it.

sabah dont even think about cutting them! Firstly you can never cut them in a straight line, secondly I doubt that they will grow thicker!

Try some different kinds of mascara. I mean if it works on me Im sure it cant be that tough on your lashes. Maybe a thicker mascara will help to curl those lashes.

im just greeedy man, my lashes are normal length and thickness. i love my mascara, which one do you use? i wanted them to look seductive without makeup

Pout mascara from Harvey Nicks is the bestest mascara ever.

i once made some lass i know trim her eyelashes, they were uneven and it peed me off, i dont think they grew back...but its ok, cos now i have better eyelashes than her!! :p

According to that girl, they *do *grow thicker. [MQ: I've personally seen the difference in her eyelashes. Whether she used something else for it, I can't say.] But Sabah, i wouldn't try it, if I were you. Whether you're able to cut them straight or not, I think it's a bit crazy. Try castor oil instead, or Talika Lipocils, as Shahreen suggested.
