Eyebrows

I have very light eyebrows and always need to use eyebrow pencil. To make it worse, years of threading has resulted in the hair on my eyebrows getting more and more sparse!

They look perfectly normal when I’ve pencilled them, but I can’t be arsed to pencil them every morning - do you guys know of a more permanent solution?

umm y dont u dye them with permanent hair dye?

but that would just make the hair on my eyebrows appear darker - it wouldn't actually fill in the skin between the hair (it's really hard to explain unless you have light eyebrows!)

Use castor oil and see if that enhances the growth. If you do not have hari folicles there then I don't think there is much you can do.

Hmm, I have light eyebrows, I don’t use pencil or anything, I prefer them faint. Wouldn’t threading thicken the hair in the long run? Some of my friends have darker eyebrows and there’s have thickened over time due to plucking and threading to a point where they have to do them about every other day, I guess it depends on the genes. :flower1:

yeah threading does lessen the hair growth. i used to have such nice bushy eyebrows...

FF since Sadi Sobi said theyve grown thinner with threading it means she does have follicles there, and i have also heard abt castor oil being good for eye lashes [not eyebrows tho] but it might work

Sadi Sobi what abt some cosmetic process like hair transplant or grafting or drafting or whatever its called? contact a dermatologist prolly...these days everything is possible!

hoor bano u r rite the effect is diff on diff ppl it seemz

cat woman did u try leaving them n they dint return to their original thickness?

well Im not sure irem, been doing my eyebrows for too long now! im happy with them actually, but if i see my mothers they have thinned considerably and she still gets them done every 2 weeks!

Get that permanent makeup thingy done on ur eyebrows. They say it lasts a long time and you don’t have to worry about filling em in every morning :hula:

*this is comin’ from a guys prospective so no dissing me ok or i do tend to get  i suggest re grow ur eybrows won’t take dat long i think then change the style do a arc i think its called my sis has dat and it suits her chehra, or do some other shape other than the one of ur eye brows at the mo’.

anyways i read in mag’ that gals’ dese days don’t get their eye brows done according to the shape of the face like girls with a round thopra should have a certain shape eye brows et cetera et cetera *

^ your advice is cute, and naive. :hehe:

naive yes i agree but cute :konfused:

Thanx for the tips guys. I’ve read a bit about permanent cosmetics, and although the idea didn’t appeal to me to start with, I’m starting to get used to it. Imagine never having to bother with makeup in the mornings - and looking ur best when you get up!

Sounds like absolute bliss, but I can’t find any Birmingham based clinics/price guides. Can anyone help me out here?

Ooooh I’m getting all excited now that I’ve seen pics! My ones aint as bad as the ones in the pictures, but just imagine never having to apply makeup again!

Cosmetic surgery, here I come!

Talika Lipocils. They do an eyebrow one too. I can guarantee it'll work.

Shahreen, have you used it before? Will it just help to lengthen the hair I've already got, or will it also thicken hair/encourage hair growth where it's stopped growing?

Femme, when you suggest Castor Oil, you don’t mean that motor oil used for car engines, or do u?

Fg :hoonh:

It'll do both.

Talking of permanent makeup. I know that it is applied like a tattoo. With tattoos being forbidden, what is the verdict on permanent makeup? Anyone?
