Its usually very hard to realize that the eye sight might be going bad … for those of you who wear spectacles … how did you first realize that its time to get your eye sight check done and wear glasses? What age were you when you started wearing your specs ?

well my husband recently got tested and is a little bit short sighted, not much (like -0.5). he started realising when i could see things he couldn't, like read the boards at the train station from far away whilst they still looked blurry for him. some people get recurring headaches and realise they need an eye test.

When in college , I could not see the handwriting on the blackboard.

I remember my mom realized I may need glasses when she saw me squinting my eyes one day when my sister and i were playing the "find the shop" game ... my dad kept asking me questions like , idar dekho ye kitni fingers hai? but then mom decided this was serious issue and took me to the optician for a test ... and I came out with glasses :(

I was in grade 6 when i couldn't see the blackboard, so i used to copy notes off a friend. The teacher knew i wasn't the cheating or disobedient type so she picked up on it, that maybe i can't see. She moved me to sit in front of the class and then told my parents to get me tested.
Funny thing, my lil sis (11 years difference) got glasses at the same age and the same magnification. Her eye sight record is exactly the same as mine!

Grade 7, used to get headaches - still do though but it made my parents get my eyes checked.

when i started working .. i spend all my day infront of computer and i used to get severe headaches dizziness than i thought to check my eyesight and got chashma

3th or 4th grade I think....contacts I didn't get until 9th grade
My eldest is in 3rd grade and just got glasses.....

in grade 7th i realised that some thing wrong my frnds can copy from blackboard but i couldn,t
i also had difficulity watching telivision and used to bheench my eyes while waching t.v or far distance things 4 clear image
it was my bad luck that my parants ignore it and checked to doc when i was in grade 9

I couldn't clear see the projected slides or the board. Also - i started having headaches. Headaches are the most common symptom. I had -1.0 the first time but gradually, also due to wearing lenses as told by the optician, it has dropped to around -2.5 where i can't really see a thing non-blurry without glasses. :(

guys do u suggest about the laser operation for recovering of eye sight? is it safe??? any one has any experience

If you are feeling that your eyesight is getting weak then you should urgently consult ophthalmologists to get better idea about your eye treatment. As there are so many best eye hospitals in Pakistan providing quality eye treatment.
