Have the same problem and my trick is after applying the eye liner, take those small eyeshadow sponges and spread the eyeliner out with that. I also use a liptstick brush because the brush is tiny and perfect for spreading the eyeliner out evenly. For me, my eyeliner always smugdes on the bottom lid outside corner of my eyes so I make sure to spread there nicely. It helps and my eyeliner stays the same all through out the day or for however long I am wearing it. Hope this helps!
My two fav eyeliner pencils are from MAC and Rimmel London’s “Kajol” pencil…Actually I both think they’re called Kajol…lol I can’t remember, have to check.
