His pale, paint-splattered canvases may lack the impact to move the viewer to tears… but he cries over every one of them.
Artist Leandro Granato creates his works by snorting up paint and squirting it out of his eyes.
He has to weep out up to a pint and a half (800ml) of watercolours to make each one of his creations. Buyers are so impressed with his unusual technique that they are prepared to pay an eye-watering £1,500 to own one.
‘Ever since I was a kid I knew I had a special connection between my eye and my nose,’ explained the 27-year-old, who comes from Buenos Aires.

‘As I grew up, I started realising that air and liquids could go out of my eye if I put them through my nose. Now, I am the inventor of a new painting style in the art world.’
He added: ‘When I decided to do this for a living, my whole family – as well as many other people – thought I was going crazy.
‘But as time went by, they began to understand the art I call eye-painting.’

I read this in the newspaper yesterday, I was quite shocked at his talent. :eek:

I still call it stupidity, it can be dangerous.
