This unfortunately is one of the drawbacks of a madrasa education ..... one is not exposed to the whole body of scientific study ..... .!
Not just Madrassah, but almost all of the universities in the developing world cannot produce original scientific work. The only thing they do is prepare the technicians.
Some of these technicians end up producing original scientific work only when they are exposed to "work AND culture" of the West.
Thus 2 billion+ Indians and Chinese can only serve as help desk techs, because their local culture is incapable of producing original work especially in science.
Anyone who tries to figure out the lack of scientific development purely on the basis of religion falls flat because the culture of innovation plays a much much bigger part (compared to a specific religion).
That's why the threat starter was wrong to quote a list based on Jews vs. Muslims.
Because Jews from African culture or from the Middle Eastern culture have not done much either.
Thus the thread starter could have taken examples of Indians (in India) and Chinese (in China) and reached the same conclusion that Indians and Chinese are zero compared to the Jews.
And if you pick up the Christians of Africa, they too will fare poorly in a "dimwit" comparison with Jews.
p.s. Another issue with the thread starter is that there is no real "Muslim Ummah". Combining a whole bunch of dimwit countries purely based on their majority religion is absurd in today's world.
