Ahh now i c them! The make up looks expertly applied (as it shud 
) but IMO it seems a lil too light for engagement. Lol i wear that much to school sometimes 
Th colors r nice, but u shud deff go for darker mroe dramatic eyes and blush and a good rich lip color as well.

really? I thought if uve got more eye make up on, you should go for a lighter and more natural lip colour so the emphasis is more on the eyes...
Im gonna have to do some more trials on myself.. im so confused..

By rich color not dark but rather... a lot... like somethign that stands out enuf not to blend in with ur skin tone and make it look like ur not wearing any lipstick, but not to overpower it.
With the eye makeup you had, you should opt for a darker, more shimmery shade of lipstick/gloss. let me find some pix..

im scaerd of wearing a darker shade cus i usually eat it within 20 minutes and look ridiculous for the few hours after that...
Its easier for me to wear a colour thats similar to my lip colour and make the eyes more dramatic... but yes.. show me pics! im easily convinced..

^ There u got all kinds of looks.... u got one girl who has the same coloring as you, Aish's dramatic lips and eyes but tasteful (makeup anyway :p ) and the last one's really cool eye makeup :) I got more pix hold..

This is my cousin at her barat, she has glitter eyeliner on; if her makeup looks kinda messed up, the ladies came to our house and the lights kept going off and even the generators weren’t working so she got ready half in teh dark… poor girl didnt’ like her makeup afterwards but she had the option of going to a better parlour in gulberg or defense and instead stuck to the neighborhood ladies to save some $$.
This is my bhabhi at her valima It was a “shotgun” valima, i.e., only nikkah and light lunch later on was planned, not a big buffet lunch at a nice shaadi hall and dolled up as a dhulan like she was 
Her outfit was blue and gold, and she didn’t have any matching makeup, so I bought some stuff from the rite aid while she was getting her hair done, and my friend came over and did her makeup and voila! I was too scared that I would make her a clown. So here she has on bright blue eye pencil with brown/black eyeliner and mascara (coz shes’ really fair skinned) and gold and pink combo creme eyeshadow on the browbone. I don’t think u can tell much int his pic, ill PM u a full pic if i can.

Sriously I think those days of crazy, over the top makeup is gone. Theres a lot of bridal magazines in Pak that advertise beuaty salons in Lahore and they do awesome stuff. The only thing I would worry abt is the "bhoot white"-ness. In the first pic, she's wearing LOTS of foundation and she's not that light skinned... shes a few shades darker too. But I jus twanted to show the glittery eyeliner I was talkign about :)

sara after listening you talk abt the glittery eyeliner i feel i should also try it. THe lady doing my face at the engagement wanted to use a greyish silver on me which i thought wouldnt go with my offwhite/gold lehanga so i jsut went with the usual black. I would love to see more detailed pics of how glittery liner looks on folks though, if you have any close pics. Gracias!
