wow her eye make up was amazing! I wish I was that talented.. I just didnt like her hot pink lipstick.. kinda made her look trashy //

I gotta admit she has loads of makeup but i have more then her Mashallah and Inshallah i will get more soon enough :D

^ and i agree with you - the lighter shades of pink are nice but the hot pink shade is very cheap

Yeah you're right about the lippy, its also applied too thickly that its ready to drip! Not too keen on that but just love the eye makeup!
I need to buy some more MAC stuff, I have 13 loose eyeshadow pigments, but I need more colours, I want to get the MAC fluidline as well and some decent eyeshadow brushes.
Teelobhain we'd love to see your make up collection better yet some more make up pics from you? Sounds like you have so much experience, we'd love to see more from you especially after that pic you sent :)

^ i had so many pictures of me in my makeup but alas my computer crashed and since i didnt have any pictures saved at some other place i lost all of them :(
i will share one or two pictures soon enough when i get the time to put makeup - and i will take pictures of my makeup collection as well inshallah

i love MAC’s eyeshadow but they cost too much last time when i checked it was $17 for just one shade.

^ dont buy so many at one time then nah. buy one at a time or something. body shop is the cheapest of all good brands and then its MAC, while others like channel,clinique, versace and so forth are much more expensive

$17 for MAC eye shadows? Hmm…well, unless MAC themselves lowered their price within the past year or so(which is when I started using MAC), I’ve never seen ANY MAC store sell shadows at that price.
MAC’s own web site has their eye shadow’s listed for $13.50. $13.50 would be for the separated potted eye shadows. They also have little re-fill pots of eye shadows that you can buy for $10/each and put them in one of those shadow palettes. MAC sells 2 kinds of palettes to hold these shadows: 4 shadow palette for $3.50 & 15 shadow palette for $12.
Also, for the holiday season MAC has come out with these 6 shadow palettes. They have 3 different types(Warm, Cool, Intense) of colors…each little box has 6 different eye shadows and it’s $36.

**I have 18 MAC eye shadows(the only brand of shadow’s I use), and 2 eye liners…I’m interested in trying out their loose pigments but am nervous. Are the pigments just as good as shadows? How do you put them on? **
I would also LOVE to own a few of the eye shadow brushes but they’re just too expensive for me at $25/each. 
But I saw that for Christmas they came out with this one set that has like 6 eye shadow brushes for $48 and so I’m very seriously leaning towards buying that.

I got 13 mac shades for £32 on ebay (UK mac retail at £11 per 7g pot), don't get too excited, lol, it was only a 1/4 spoon amount in a little container. But they are all good shades that its coming to some use.
I haven't got any mac pressed eyeshadows but I would love to try a few shades that I checked on the official site.
I think loose pigments are fantastic, you only need a little amount but its also important that you buy good quality brushes so you're not overusing the pigments and be careful as they tend to get on the cheeks and around the eyes, it is very messy to work with.

Very lovely eyes, everyone! I’m a huge fan of eye makeup myself but I don’t really do well with eyeshadow, so I’ll try reading some of the insights here and giving it a shot.

yea so can someone tell me what is a good eyeliner (pencil, not liquid) that is long lasting? i wear it all the time, and i have oily lids, so it just ends up being smudged after a while. I went and looked at this one @ MAC, but i just don’t feel right shelling out $20 for a tiny stick of eyeliner. I was looking at Sephora, and found something else there as well. So what other options are out there for me?
ps…i’m making it bold so it doesn’t get lost among ppl’s pretty eyes
