Eye Makeup!

Re: Eye Makeup!

I am a beginner here. So i need lots of help. I have deep, small dark eyes so what kind of make up should i do. Pics would really help. Plus can u guys tell me what kind of make up would look nice for every day and which one for party. thanks

Re: Eye Makeup!

^bright shimmery eyeshadows would look nice

Re: Eye Makeup!

I live in an Australian pind, and i can't find eyesahdow primer anywhere!! Is it possible to use normal skin concealer on the eye? will that work in the same way?

my motto is, NOTHING is too over or dramatic for Eid. i mean its EID!!!lol. its only twice a year and i like to treat it like a huge deal and go all out with clothes, makeup and jewelry no matter if its just the masjid prayer or a huge party....hth :) my 2 cents

aww thanks...i would def. do a nice bold look this time because i love smokey eyes and i can't do smokey to birthday parties or graduation parties that usually happens here, eid only comes twice a year so pretty much i got only two times a year to dress up as much as i can.
i just hope none of the aunties here sees me with all that makeup because then it's like their responsibility to remind me how they wish their daughter would pay as much attention on their style and makeup too because they are just so plain and innocent.
(yeh...it looks like a compliment but if you know any of those kind of aunties you will realise how much of a compliment that really is)

urgh!!!!!

Re: Eye Makeup!

I'm thinking of doing cherry red lips for a wedding but want to keep eyes and complexion looking fresh and simple, how wud one do their eye make up without drawing attention from lips?

ohh i know THOSE types of aunties, yuck. well, my thoughts were always this: if my mom/dad (or hubby if applicable) are ok with my makeup/fashion, then NO ONE else should have a problem with it!!! :)

kaisee lagh rahee hoon main, kehyee kia khayaal hai

keep the eyeshadow very light or don't wear it at all. i would just put some eyeliner and mascara on if i were doing red lips

Re: Eye Makeup!

^ i agree. no eyeshadow at all. thin eyeliner and mascara only.

how about something like this?

i LOVE this look

love it!

Re: Eye Makeup!

Hellooooo can someone please tell me if i can use ordinary concealer for the eyes? i can't find eye primer anywhere! and it's Eid tomorrow, so i need to know quick! Thanks

Re: Eye Makeup!

^ yea u can use foundation, thats what i used to do when i was younger and dint know much about primers...i havent tried concealer though, but u could give it a shot

yea, that's fine. if it's not a creamy one in a pot, even better. apply and finish with lots of powder on top, that way you will get a smoother base for the eyeshadow application.

wow tht looks amazing…thts like magazine material

Hi-5 to that! I love it too!

Re: Eye Makeup!

^ it helps that she's drop dead gorgeous too! but yeah, that makeup look is killer.

CE, you're too kind :-)

Re: Eye Makeup!

i recently came across pictures of MAC's mineralized eyeshadows from their style black collection and i fell in love. i HAD to have them. i called 4 different MAC stores but they were all out. lucky #5 happened to have 4 left, one of each color. that MAC is pretty far away and i couldn't go there on my own so the next day i made my dad go on his way from work (:D ) and get them for me. unfortunately he came back with only 2, he said that's all they had left! :-( so i was wondering if you girls knew any trusted websites where i might be able to order the 2 i didn't get. i checked ebay and they do have some but they're almost double the price. so that's my first question, and secondly, i needed ideas of what kind of looks i can do with the 2 eyeshadows i got. i have gilt by association and blue flame. the only thing that's coming to mind is the kind of look i posted previously, i feel like that's ALL i do. it's like my signature look, shimmery eyeshadow with black on the crease. i like dramatic looks but i need new ways of doing them. any suggestions?
