thnx noor, I’m trying out different lashes at the moment (on the hunt for the perfect lashes for my wedding) these lashes where half lashes…I agree the bottom could have more colour on the lashes, actually I dont think I did apply any mascara to the bottom ![]()
Hahah I get it now. I’ve tried this myself, but I wasn’t really a fan. I do have two suggestions though!
(For applying foundation then eyeshadow --to remove the fallout from the shadow under the eyes/cheeks).
- You can apply a heavy amount of transparent powder (like oil control powder), under the eyes and lightly brush it away with a clean brush after you’ve completed the eyeshadow (not a big fan of this either, but it generally tends to work).
or
- Use a product called “Shadow Shields.” They are a crescent shaped sticker. One side is slightly tacky (which adheres to the skin), and the other is felted to catch falling eyeshadow. When you’re done, you just peel it off. Et voila!
You are all set then, because it’s a beautiful look!
For false lashes I personally like Ardell lashes affixed to the lashline with Duo glue. This site is very popular with many MUA for good quality, inexpensive lashes.
Madame Madeline
Now you’ve got me wanting to shop! Haha.
Re: Eye Makeup!
nice look CE - that colour combo is one i do a lot :)
what's the lighter colour on your lid?
also, i think you need to take photos at a different angle (open eye, from the side a bit, looking up a bit) for us to judge the difference between the falsies.
i tried a bunch of ardell but didn't find anything i liked but they have a lot to choose from.
i think you should try the revlon fantasy lengths if you're after something natural. 99500 intensifying is my fav! you should be able to pick them up from boots or superdrug.
also MAC sell the DUO adhesive quite cheaply (you can get a small tube for £2.50)
i like them! and i love the eye shadow
Slackira,
I really like your eyeliner. It's hard to see the colors you used for eyeshadow though-- is the photo taken with a webcam? Sometimes its hard to calibrate colors correctly with it
Yar i took the shots with my n95. i don't own a digi cam..and i did this look last night..and i had both tube lights in my room on and changed the camera settings several times but the pictures just couldn't bring out the shadow properly. that's what i hate about it.
