HELP! How do you blend without losing all the color. Seems like when I blend every things blends together to make a brown. I lose all the color in the area. What am I doing wrong?
the white eyeshadow is not shimmery enough…try a more shimmery light colored eyeshadow (beige or silver) as a highlighter. Also blend the dark color from the outer corners of the eye towards the inside so it fades in. You have dark eyeshadow towards the inside of your crease which is making the eyes look harsh…u need to have a lighter shadow towards the inside and darker towards the outside to make the eye look bigger.
njgal, the trick is to stick to the same color family.. like grey's, darker grey and black.. taupe, deep purple and dark brown.
When u blend go over with a tapered eye-shadow brush lightly and don't "sweep" it.. just stroke it lightly.. dont be afraid to use dark colors.. I see girls covering their eyelids with either silver or white and that when blended with black makes the entire eyelid go grey :)

I just like normal eyeliner, mostly liquid. My friend said surma is great but I've never seen it at any stores here :( Does anyone of you have experience with it?
Sometimes I use some glittery eye-shadow to make my eyes look bigger -.-'' I have got kinda slant eyes... :S
wow, she really is the queen of blending. you really need good quality makeup like MAC to get looks like that though, and you need the right brushes..i wish they weren't so expensive!
looks good! the eyeliner looks very nice..the eyeshadow needs a little more blending but you said it looked more blended in person so that's good. nice job!
and as for the pics, take it with the flash on but stand in a dark place, and make sure the file size is big so when you upload the pictures, you can zoom into the eyes and see detail.
Use a primer and foundation on u're eyelids as well. If u're colors don't show in pics then u need to use more pigment :)
Cover u're entire eyelid in the lighter color of u're choice and then do an inverted "V" at the corners of u're eye..using a dark color.. and blend inwards into the crease :)
