I’ve tried Clinique (Canadian and american), maybelline, and loreal..and they ALL SUCK
None fo htese can take off the makeup completely, im always left with hints of mascara and/or eyeliner..grr it sucks
Re: Eye makeup remover
clinique is pretty good for me atleast ![]()
Re: Eye makeup remover
^ the 1st one i tried, left very oily residue..
the second i tried (got it from canada, not that it makes a diffrence in quality) its supposed to be a gentle makeup remover..which stings all over my face! ![]()
their skincare stuff is good for me, so i dunno…
Re: Eye makeup remover
Have you tried Johnsons baby lotion to remove make up - I have a friend who swears by this - she has never used anything other than this.
I order from YVES ROCHER online - it's really good...I have tried a couple of their make up removers and they are all really good......
Re: Eye makeup remover
I like Boots own brand facial wash, cleanser, toner and the facial scrub is excellent - good thing is there range is available in fragrance and fragrance-free versions.
Re: Eye makeup remover
I don't know if you can find Jhonson's eye make remover pads there in Usa Canada
they come in white plastic tub with blue label and inside they have disk shape wet cotton
it's Awsome one disk is enough for both your eyes
they have a new face cloth like thing in plastic packet very good thats face makeup remover
and then tones and moisturize @ the same time
Re: Eye makeup remover
Lancome.
When they do free girt sets, you know when you have to buy two or more products to get free sample stuff. Buy two jucey tubes and you'l recieve loads of free stuff, eye make up remover included, its really good. Or you could just buy it on its own, but then you dont get two juciy tubes...I don't understand either!
Never use wipes. In fact, never use wipes full stop for any sort of make up removal. Not good. Cleanse and then cleanse some more.
Re: Eye makeup remover
hain? y r wipes no good?
Re: Eye makeup remover
Nope, Wipes are evil.
I can't actually remember why, but the lady at the Chanel counter told me so and she is like Queen, so we don't ignore her.
Something about spreading the dirt and clogging pores and stuff. They arent really an effective way of getting rid of make up, as even after you'v used one, you still have to cleanse.

They are good when you are travelling/in a rush though
I found them invaluable when I was in India!

i agree. i also figured we should wash with cleanser after using a wipe.
Re: Eye makeup remover
Maybelline works fine on me whenever I do lots of eye make up .... and yes, you should definitely still wash your face with a cleanser after using eye make-up remover.
Re: Eye makeup remover
what a smilarity
one of cousin’s uses that aswel but she uses eye makeup remover to remove any make up but in normal routine she uses the baby lotion nothing else at all:)
i think either boots eye remover pads or no07 eye makeup remover are good they both work for me but u still have to wash ur face coz it doens’t take it all of and i dont feel clean so i always wash my face:)
Re: Eye makeup remover
Exaclty, wipes dont really get rid fo anything. And even after you cleanse you still have to tone to get rid of the cleanser!
Re: Eye makeup remover
I use that clinique one....not the one in the blue bottle but the one in the lilacy/purple coloured bottle. The blue bottle one stung my eyes but the lilac one is fine.
Re: Eye makeup remover
don't use clinique's eye makeup remover per se... use their foaming face wash cleanser- i SWEAR by it. honestly, sara, it takes off everything so completely and cleanly and you only need as much as the size of a small pea each time, so it lasts forever. i think its about $25 but soooo worth it.
Re: Eye makeup remover
Sara516 Use vaseline it is the best eyemakeup remover. I have used it for years. its the best, I've never needed to buy an eyemake-up remover. I just rub it on my eyes and it doesnt matter if it gets in your eyes cos it doesnt sting. And wipe with a damp cotton pad. Or yiou could use cotton buds.
Re: Eye makeup remover
in one off my magazines i read ones that nivea was good and chanel and ole henriksen( he is danish but known world wide)...i use nivea
Re: Eye makeup remover
Er dont get me wrong I dont’ use ONLY eye makeup remover… usually all teh mascara and stuff has smeared onto my cheeks ![]()
My normal routine–eye makeup remover…wash with cleanser..then use toner..and then moisturizer..1ce a week use those biore pore cleaning thinggies.
Re: Eye makeup remover
my baby cousin once used nail polish remover to remove her eye makeup! poor girl! she's like "baaji my eyes are feeling mirchaain mirchaain!"
sara: have u tried using an oil like coconut oil or almond oil to remove the makeup? use that and follow with your regular cleanser. works like a dream and also leaves the eye area moisturized.
