I was going to do that but left it for a long while. Now I am short-sighted but when I wear my glasses I have trouble reading. I need to remove my glasses to read comfortably…so if I do have my distance vision corrected permanently then I will need to use reading glasses and that’s not something I’m ready to do just yet.
I have a pair of bifocal contact lenses for trial and they seem to be okay for me. That’s what I’m thinking of going for.
