Eye- creams/gels

Does anyone use them religiously? I used to be good and kept one on my bedside table, it was one by Avon with aloe and cucumbers. I also came across one with watermelon and papaya, that’s really refreshing especially if it’s been in the fridge.

Sweet almond oil is great for fine lines under the eyes, dark circles and so is Vitamin E oil. Any other tried and tested eye-creams and gels?

Re: Eye- creams/gels

I use to do them regularly long time back but I jes stopped it now :(
I ws not getting any results out of it... does it really work? I mean which are the best one for dark circles?

They do work, you just have to be regular..

Re: Eye- creams/gels

I started using one religiously a year ago...I currently use Clinique's 'All About Eyes' though I think olive oil works much better! :)

Re: Eye- creams/gels

I used to have one from the body shop - it was amazing. It was in a small white plastic tube (think toothpaste tube but much much smaller) with green writing on it. It would wipe away dark circles overnight, mine are very light so this was a godsend for me as it meant I didn't have wear any concealer at all. They discontinued it (damn you body shop:() and I can no longer find anything as good as that was!

Re: Eye- creams/gels

I use one from 'Platinum Skincare'. It's quite good. I do see the fine lines below the lower lash line disappearing.

I've tried a few over the past couple of years. The ones I can remember:

Bliss all around eye cream: rubbish.

Garnier new roll on thingy: more of an eye cream with colour, good at temporary concealing dark circles.

Dermalogica multivitamin eye/lip cream: my sister loves this but wasn't greatly impressed.

Bobbi Brown eye balm: love this as it really hydrates the eye area, but doesn't really do anything for dark circles.

Re: Eye- creams/gels

I really need to know a good effective product for dark circles :(

Anyone else tried almond oil, olive oil or vitamin E oil?

Re: Eye- creams/gels

^Gina I've been using vitamin e oil for the past 3 days and intend to use it for a few months to see if it has any effect.how long does it normally take in order to see results?
xxx

Re: Eye- creams/gels

I've tried vit e oil for a short while - but doubt i used it long enough to notice any results.

I'm planning on giving the almond oil a go though as i've developed some sort of an allergy to the vit e oil.

Normally it takes a few months.. the way you massage is more important though.

Re: Eye- creams/gels

Is there a particular method used to massage the under eye area?

castor oil is good for dark circles (and especially for working women)
it also makes eyelashes longer

wow really! I will try that :) Thanks for sharing
